Jump’nBump <1Mb
This is not be confused with a dissimilar flash game of similar nomenclature. It’s technically a 2 - 4 player multiplayer game with a network LAN option. But if you know how, it can be played single player against a basic AI computer player(s).
Available for many different platforms/OS. It's a 2D arena where you jump or fall off different ledges as you chase or get chased by the opposing bunnies. It's a wonderful game to play!
The game is played with cute rabbits who try to hop on their opponents heads to squish them, in a continuing mighty bloodbath of a fight; - as you re-spawn after getting squished. The aim of course is to get the highest point score/greatest amount of fun by squishing your opponents repeatedly within a time limit. See how many bunnies you can kill!
A great feature with this game is the ability to do extra things such as cheats, like the ability to use jet packs. There are obstacles in the level, like slippery ice, delaying water and elevating springboards, which add variety and make chasing and catching opponent bunnies and hence scoring, more difficult. (And even more fun!)
There are various custom maps available if you want a change of bunny squishing scenery, or you can create your own maps, with the map editor option. There’s quite a range of user-created maps available to download.
There’s a user-friendly game launcher (needs .net 2.0) available for the Windows version, to load custom maps or start a LAN game, which is very useful as the game itself would otherwise need command line parameters for these options.
To play alone against the computer, walk the first and second player (or more!) manually onto the playing area (use arrow keys and ‘awd’ keys and press the ‘2’ key to get the AI started with the second player. (same for any of players 1,3 and 4 ingame with the ‘1,3,4’ keys (not number pad) for them to play as AI players).
Controls F10 windowed/full-screen
a,w,d to steer Dott
arrows to steer Jiffy
j,i,l to steer Fizz
4,8,6 to steer Mijji (on the numeric pad)
At the beginning you are in the menu, where you have to jump
over the tree trunk if you want to play and walk right.
Then you'll enter the arena.
For best gameplay - This game is loads of fun with two or preferably several players!
Jump 'n Bump has excellent graphics, music and sound, and is worth an hour (or more!) of your time. Grab some friends, join in and start stomping! You won’t be disappointed!
