Hello, Just installed Windows 7 and forgot to back up the start up wav. Anyone know where I can download the start up wav? Thanks for the assist.

You can change which file plays at startup by going to:
Control Panel>Sounds
but the .WAV sounds are actually stored in:
C:\Windows\Media directory
W.R.
p.s.
Assuming you upgraded from XP to win 7 you may be able to find the .Wav sounds from XP by looking in the Old windows folder that you can find in the root directory (C:\) I'm only going off memory where these were placed in XP as mentioned above, so may be wrong. hopefully someone will be able to confirm whether r not I'm correct. It shouldn't do any harm checking though. :).

better off not to have one as it slow you down, if you like the sound take a look at sound may be just reset.
