   THQ are having a daily sale all week. The first sale items are the Red Faction games. You can get Red Faction Guerilla for only £3.75; that's a multi million pound game for less than the cost of an arcade game. This game has brilliant graphics but also an amazing damage engine. Game play is excellent and there's a couple of single player modes plus multiplayer modes. I piad full price for this one and never regretted it. Now you can get it for around an eighth of it's original price.

   Unfortunately for us Aussies, THQ & Steam are screwing us over the pricing.

   Red Faction Guerrilla - $4.99 US / €4.99 EU / £3.74 UK / $17.49 US (For Aussies)

   I've seen the typical US=EU Conversion issue (where they treat $1 US = €1 EU), But Australians purchase everything on Steam in US$ - so it is either $4.99 US (For Americans) or $17.49 US (For Australians).

   I guess they are charging additional for freight/delivery because we have such a long distance to download over.

   I need to make alternate purchase arrangements!

   That's really unfair BuBBy. It's probably the licencing arangements that the Australian government levy as opposed to Steam over charging.

   I'll tell you what's unfair.
   There is a young guy living on a remote South Sea island under palm trees, at the whitest of all beaches and the bluest of all oceans - he has to pay some $$ more;
   and here is an old gal living in a grey, loud, dirty, wet, cold....city, and she may not even look at the games: Not Available In Your Region!.

   Well, I could buy the Red Faction Guerilla but could not even look at the other two parts.

   Metro 2033 which was released back in March of this year is Wednesdays deal with 66% off the full price. This is a great post apocalyptic game on the lines of Stalker, but IMO better. :)

   Todays deal is an excellent futuristic grunts shooter with semi futuristic weapons and gorgeous graphics. I remember the first time i played this game a few years ago I was really impressed. now you can own a premier shooter for only a few dollars.
