WR do you have this game? If so is it worth buying? I play single player mostly.

Well I checked the website for the game and it sound like there basically is no single player mode. :(

Yes I do have this game. I only post about the games that I've already purchased; though I purchased it for full price.

It's not cutting edge, but it's an okay game well worth the half price tag.

It does have a single player campaign, so you should be okay

This weekends Steam deal is the Grand Theft auto classics pack which includes all GTA games prior to GTAIV,

This weekends steam deal is Sniper: Ghost warrior; in my opinion one of the best sniper based games around, (compared to the likes of other sniper based games such as Sniper: Art of Victory, Sniper Elite and Marine Sharpshooter IV (and previous versions of Marine Sharpshooter I to III) all have their plus points but Sniper: Ghost warrior combines the best of all the rest plus the graphics are brilliant.

Although that said I love the sniper rifles in ArmA II and you can play sniper in Battlefield 2 if that's your preference, but neither of those games are specific to sniper game play; playing sniper is just one small part of both games massive open world game play. :)

There's also a map pack available seperately for a few pounds (approx $5)

Bought it full price when it came out,I have to agree with what WR said above,my only problem with the game is that I have not had the time to play it as often as I would have liked recently,but hopefully I'll have a bit more time on my hands during the next few months(I enjoy sneaking around and shooting people).

lol, same here. I love the slow mo video sequences when you get a perfect head shot; watchig the bullet travel to it's destination is cool. I purchased the add-on map pack a few months back when it was last on sale, but haven't had the chance to check those out yet. Pity they are only multiplayer maps. Still i'm very satisfied with the overal game. Sniper: Art of victory has similar video sequences when you get a good head shot, but the graphics are two years old, pkus the game was a budget release, as is the Marine Sharpshooter series (both games are decent enough though). Sniper elite is an older game but as good as the budget games if not better. I remember when I first played the game back in 2005 and was amazed; though now it looks dated as theres no bump mapping in the environment, so everything looks flat. The actual game play is good though.

For the price this weekends offer is a steal.

If you're not sure about Amnisia there's a playable demo that gives you a fair idea of what the gameplay is like.

Oh, and if you don't like swearing, don't watch any of the 'reaction' videos! :)

You can get Metro 2033 and Just cause 2 for only £4.99 each (approx $7.50. Both games are brilliant IMO. Metro is a post apocalyptic horror game with gorgeous graphics. Be warned though if you have a nervous disposition it will scare you. Just Cause 2 is the best open world action game I've ever played, unfortunately if you dont have Win 7 or Vista you wont be able to play it becasue it requires DX10 graphic emulation.
