Hi Judydog, It's got to be a false positive. I think the giveaway wrapper and/or the activation module may be picked up as malware by an overly sensitive malware package.

Sorry hotdoge3,I dont understand what you mean, bebo Isnt blocked and im not using a-squared,using malwarebytes.
It Is not GOTD that i get the warning from, the site loads up fine, even when malwarebytes has blocked that IP address,It seems to come half way through the GOTD page loading up,right after the sticker section loads up then If I look In the bottom left in firefox where it tells you whats loading next as the current page is loading,I see the Ip address then malwarebytes kicks In,then GOTD page finishes loading.Posted 13 years ago # -
I think that IP might be one of the tracking systems on GOTD. As long as it doesn't interfere with the usage of the site, I think you can just ignore it. Could you please post the full IP address so that I can do a reverse DNS? If it's on the GOTD website, there's no reason that any part of the address should be censored.
@hotdoge3: A long time annoyance of mine, I wish you would type in full sentences, because 80% of the time I can't understand you. Because of so, I tend to skip your posts.

Hi judydog,
from time to time I get the same warning from MalwareBytes' AntiMalware pro Ip Protection module, but it won't prevent GOTD to be reached. That's good since IP Protection module generally blocks malicious websites.
You may exclude GOTD IP address (just whitelist it) through MBAM Ip protection module. You may also ask MalwareBytes' support forum
Hope it helps;)

if'n you were speaking of online armor, the blacklists they suggest can be a bit... overenthusiastic. as in lots. OTOH, I filter most of the stuff off the website using noscript, so nothing gets a chance to get that far. [no connect]
