Yes that's todays giveaway at Gamehouse - they have a different free game each day (free if you don't mind adverts but you can always pay to avoid them, in which case it's not free).
Hyperballoid used to be my favorite arkanoid for a while. I bought virtually all of the expansion packs for the game and ended up paying over $140 on the game. ([i]The base game which had 200 levels used to cost $19,99 before the recession and each expansion cost $14.99 initially). Now all the expansion packs are incorporated into the game, and if you don't want 'in game' advertising, you can buy it for as little as $6.95 from places like Big Fish, or Reflexive from $9.99 (Reflexive are now owned by the same owners of Gamehouse; that is, Real Arcade.
The game play is relatively slow, but if you like gorgeous looking levels, this is a game you should get. Personally I'd not get one of these ad supported games now because you get 20 to 30 second adverts every 2 or three levels which I find very off-putting, but if you can't afford to purchase games its an ideal way to get free good quality games.

p.s.
Thre's a thread dedicated to the free games from gamehouse. You can't miss it as it's usually always on the front page.
I find the ads to be a welcome pauze. And quite a healthy pauze too. It gets me moving a bit, get a drink, go pe*, or just stretch a bit. It actually is ofputting that it is a commercial instead of some beautiful scenery, but, nonetheless, for the fact that it is free and no virusses and stuff, I gratefully and gracefully accept the chance to play this game :-)
For myself, if it has stupid ads, then it ain't free.
WR, I find that I am getting tired of those ads when playing the games, for the same reasons. There are way too many ads being shown, and the same ones shown 'to death'. Some of those ads are repeated so frequently I have actually been turned off from buying the product; case in point is that point and tap/flick game, whose name I can't remember now. I used to not mind the ads since I was getting to play the game 'for free', but am starting to change my mind about that.
