   AVIToolbox itself is a harmless app that some folks might find useful, but I'm trying to remember the last time I ran a setup routine where I had to cancel or decline so many add-ons. Worse, while I clearly said no to all those things, I still got a Lot of new registry entries for one of those add-ons in the [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\PowerPack] registry key.

   In win7
   The installation performed the following activity:
   105 files added
   70 files deleted
   33 files updated
   2298 registry entries added
   14 registry entries deleted
   69 registry entries updated

   I noticed this with anothe program I installed yesterday. Can't remember the name of it; (it could have been AVItoolbox). Very annoying; I'm sure they do it that way to catch the unwary user out.

   Both my childrens computers have toolbars and other rubbish installed due to them both not unchecking checkboxes when installing seemingly innocent programs (via JAVa for example).
