Just noticed mention on steam of a new game that is on its way made by a well known studio, Daedalic Entertainment. Have a look here The Lord Of The Rings Gollum.
I have added it to my wishlist already :-)
New game worth keeping an eye on perhaps?

Games GuruThanks. LOTR is one of my all time favorite stories. I read the trilogy virtually every year from the point I got the book (initially a single three volume paper back, then I purchased a limited edition three volume se) and read it every year from the age of 13 to 26, since then I read it occasionally. I have most games related to the world and will be getting this game at some point. It's almost time for me to re watch all the movies (apart from the one that was released 30+ years ago and only ever made it as far as the end of the first book.
I'll be watching the Hobbit first. I still find it difficult to get my head around how they made a relatively short story into four separate movies adding stuff that was never included in the story, yet removed so much from the Lord of the rings (eg Fog on the Barrow downs and Tom Bombadil)
