I have spent the WHOLE day being a plumber's mate, lol!
My hubby and I went to fix a blocked sink and ended up having to replace all the pipes, etc...
(This after trying to save $$ by keeping the old ones which kept leaking no matter WHAT we did..lol)
Arg..
So MY New Year HAS to be better!
I hope that EVERYONE has a great year; if you are going out, stay safe!
((hugs))

Hi Merri,
And a Happy New Year to you, your hubby, and everyone else. :)
After posting a mammoth number of games to celebrate the New Year, I managed to get downstairs to see the new year in with my family and watch the spectacular fireworks display (via TV) at the London Eye. The only one I've ever seen that came close to it was many years ago when my wife and I had cycled from Bordeaux, down into Spain, across the North coast and then down into Portugal, with the aim of attending the Vianna De Costello fiesta (1990). I remember the display went on for nearly three hours and at the end many people were stranded on rocks as the tide had started to come in; it was an estuarine display with the fireworks going off in the middle of the estuary on platforms as well as a great railway/road bridge built by Eiffel that crossed the estuary, the guy also built, you guessed it, the Eiffel Tower.
To all, have a brilliant year and I hope your dreams come true.... :)
