   A total of 478 MEPs voted against the deal, with 39 in favour. There were 165 abstentions. That's a sure sign that ACTA is not acceptable. Wonder how the vote will go in the US?

   the US - they were taking part in drafting it alongside with Japan. ACTA and the elections coming up in the US, my guess is we will see Obama changing quickly his mind for the time being or to put it on hold until the elections are over.
   The victory for Europe is still not seen as such by DeGucht. He wants to appeal.

   The whole ACTA process was from the very beginning a backroom deal. Luckily some good guys leaked the story and making it public to give democracy its due.

   But the next backroom deal is already boiling. The ITU backroom deal with the UN.
