This is a late comment. So the user Id and code I got immediately did come through right away but when entered it would always come up as "Wrong code" no matter whether I copied and pasted or very carefully entered it manually. I posted that part of my comment on the Giveaway day (#41 right now)
I tried again today and it worked....
Sort of. Now it wants a serial number. I didn't get one and believe I never will. Never trying this companies software again. Uninstalling

I was able to obtain a key today, though I registered during the giveaway

As with other people I sent off my email for licence number (stated I would receive a email within a few minutes) well 24 hours later and still waiting,
I have a few of their products and have missed out on a lot over the years due to them never sending the promised email.
They need to manage their cmpany better.

I must be somewhat lucky . . . After a second request I got the registration email. Only one snag: the registration number is rejected by the software as invalid. So I filled out a detailed support ticket, but still no joy.

This is the first time over several years that I have had any registration issue with a GAOTD offering. Doesn't look good on FRANZIS Verlag GmbH :(

Have been waiting an hour now but no details received yet. Thought Franzis would have sorted out this debachle by now - they must be aware of the situation

After hours since registration, I'm still waiting to receive the activation information without success.

I don't know why you are all having issues but it took me less than two minutes from start to finish, the emails arrived within seconds.

The only issue I have is that my other plugins I've purchased from them aren't in there.

Not getting registration info after waiting an hour.

It is interesting to read the user comments for the previous times FRANZIS titles were offered. In almost every case there are a large number of people posting comments about not receiving timely e-mails for registering the products.

No doubt this is partly due to the apparently-huge popularity of these titles, with a corresponding larger number (if not larger fraction) of users complaining.

However, I would have thought that after so many previous instances of these problems happening, by now FRANZIS should be anticipating the surge of requests on these Giveaway days and somehow increasing their capacity (at least temporarily) to handle/respond to the crushing load of requests.

I also seem to recall from a past offer (may not have been for FRANZIS) that there was some issue/difficulty with sending out e-mails with the registration codes to Yahoo! addresses in particular. Perhaps many of today's users still waiting are using Yahoo! (I'm one, and still waiting)?

They are obviously having some trouble for one reason or another. If they send you an email tomorrow or whenever it's fixed, and it contains the registration information, you will be able to activate it it then. Not sure if that is true if you don't already have an account. I hope they do that, as they have done this in a past giveaway here. I have bought a few of their products as well and like them. I am not a photography expert either, but their software was pretty intuitive with many choices if you don't want to set it up the manual way which is possible too. I hope we get it! C'mon Franzis, help us out!

Same here. Made it through step 2, but no email with a code forthcoming.

Password reset token is invalid. That is the message I get when entering new password information to reset the password that for some reason is no longer valid (yes I already have an account). Just to get eventually get information to paste into the installer. This is too much nonsense. Thank You for your kind offer however a free software program is not an attempt to withdraw gold from Fort Knox in the USA. A more simpler registration would be more appreciated.

Well here it is 5 minutes after midnight and I received no emails of any kind with
registration details or any kind of email. Yes I looked in my spam folder also. Nothing came. I have a number of their programs and have an account with them. So anyway I now cannot even try this program out.

Forgot to add I checked spam folder in all accounts, nothing from the company.

What a waste of time. Used 3 separate email accounts, still no serial. If this software is going to be offered the least the company can do is actually supply the required information

NO registration success- I have used two different email addresses, checked SPAM folder - nothing.

Impossible to get the registration code from them. Tried three times. Giving up now.

The Mail that you are expecting is in your spam folder. I could not find it on my computer so I tried the same account on my phone. The emails are being sent as promised.

How will you know whom to send the registration code to?

Still waiting for User ID & the "Registration-Code", in an email after a long period of time. Hope they fix the internet problems. Would like to get the code before it expires.

During installation, internet button does not take me anywhere! it just stay as it is not touched, help.

I was really looking forward to trying this out. Usual screwups with registering their product makes me leery with even trying. This one is no different. (I did get the user Id and registration code quickly though)
All I get though is a box popup saying wrong registration code after hitting OK. No matter if I copy and paste or VERY carefully input manually.
Don't know why I even try with this company anymore.

During the program installation, I chose the Internet button and I was redirected to the registration page, I logged in (I have an account on Franzis) and I came to step 3. From that moment I waited 30 minutes and I did not receive the confirmation e-mail. Then I repeated the procedure from the beginning and it has already been 40 minutes and the e-mail has not arrived.
In other folders (eg spam), there is nothing.

The 137 BM Zip file has been downloaded twice now, the email from Franzis arrived with the ID and registration data, the Setup file run, the Personal User ID and Registration code properly entered, but when the OK button is pressed, an error message pops up saying "Wrong registration code!"

Waited for an hour and received no code. Tried to sign another acount, with other email address on Franzis, and another hour has passed without a code, Tried again the third time, with the third email address, and again, no received code.

Yet, I have three acouns on Franzis, and no code for this app.

As usual, codes will not validate the program even when cut and pasted directly from Franzis own e-mail to me. Happens to many people and to me more than once in past, too. Like others, have given up. Vendor makes useful software but has zero respect for customers or would not treat them like this.

Waited 4 hours and 25 minutes now for an email and now have to head out...not much chance I'm gonna be able to get it activated before midnight before midnight now...because I love Franzis' Software so far...never tried this one, though...
If they extend, I'll be thrilled!

Got an immediate Email reply - but with NO registration information!

Once I had sorted out the password for the old account, registration was a breeze. The email with the ID and serial number arrived almost before I could open my email program.

Installation and activation were fast and without problems on W7 Home Premium.

I haven't had time to fully explore the potential yet but a quick test with a close-up cat photo worked exactly as promised. Head was in focus (as intended when the photo was taken) but the body faded to a blur. FP3 Pro has rendered the entire cat in focus which has pleased the cat no end

Well worth the acrobatics to get installed and activated and my thanks to Franzis and GAOTD for making it available. It will be of great use in correcting past macro photos beyond what was possible in-camera.

I've still got in use on my computer the Pro v1 version that was a GOTD way back in 2016 and it's a program that I personally think is one of the varied GOTD things that IS worth a d/load or at least a trial. No idea just what differences exist in the updates to this... or even the Prov4 which is actually what you get now from the official Franzis site but it's certainly one that I think is useful to have available. I'm not going to upset my good old v1 for the sake of changes which may or not be any use to ME .. but if you don't have this at all then the available v3 here must be well worth having to anyone even if only for occasional use.
There seem to be far too many poor and useless programs lately on GOTD... grab this one which is NOT of that ilk...

Registration was no problem at all. I went to English website and it seems this vender has some nice plug-ins.

Have to check out these folks some more. Nice.

Registration was piece of cake... I had the following notification pop-up while the installer was "Finishing installation"...

"Photoshop CC 2014/CC/CS6 or Photoshop Elements 13/12/11 could not be found on this computer.
You can use this setup package to install the plug-ins at a later time."
