Two messages, bad and good.
The bad one: really LONG waiting time for the license key.
The good one: you can register with it AFTER the GOTD time window.
And a premium good message: this sw looks really fine!

Would you believe that after 28 hours (yes, that long!) i finally got my license code!
I surely hope it's worth the wait, but I've read many place that it is quite a powerful tool!

This is what I did. Waiting and watching out for the key. I might be able to finally let go of Picasa.

Keep calm and wait for the key. As soon as you download the trial version of Filter Forge 9.0 Professional and request a key, please use the fully functional 30-day trial version and wait for the key to reach your inbox (or spambox). Once you receive the key, open your trial version of Filter Forge 9.0 Professional, select Help > Enter License Key from the main menu and fill in your key. Your Filter Forge is now registered and yours forever.

Next day after installing Filter Forge 9.0 still nó license Key in my Mail-inbox!

Yesterday, according to the instructions, I completed the form on the given page, but I haven't received the license key to this day. There is nothing in the spam folder.

I got the download at 8:20 PM EDT and the email with the link - it is now 3:04 AM EDT and still have not gotten the license key yet. The box on the site page says I have 54 mins left. Will I still be able to get the software to work if the codes do not come in time? Or if I go back to sleep (I do have to work in the morning) and not see the keys?

Unfortunately, despite the positive registration yesterday, so far I have not received the activation key.

No key here, either. Now 11:20. Looks like I won't get it before the time allowed to register it runs out.

I am starting to get concerned with getting a code. Being in Australia with the time difference. I also realise there is a large demand and a wait.

I am wondering if time runs out the code when / if it arrives will still be valid.

3 hours to go with a white-listed email address and still no code. Perhaps the developers in conjunction with GOTD could consider extending this offer beyond the full time bell. Alternatively, why not publish a universal serial number here that everyone can use?

I realize that there can be technical delays, but waiting 12 hours for a key is frustrating. I suspect that by the time it arrives, I will have already gone to bed. It's a shame. I was very interested in today's giveaway.

I did not notice this giveaway until there were only 8 hours left. I've downloaded, filled in the form, and installed - but (quite reasonably) the license key has not arrived yet. Will I get a code that works tomorrow (it is 01:15 here now) or will I have to stay away until I get a key?

7 hours later and still no key, I even sent an email to support and nothing.

Have now been waiting for my code for about 8 hours, my brother has been waiting for his for about 6 hours. Starting to get concerned we won't receive them before the offer expires, what happens if we haven't got them in time? Checking in spam, nothing there, and would like confirmation they're still being sent out.

I requested the code many hours ago, but have yet to receive it.

(They rejected my main email address, so I supplied a gmail address, which was accepted.)

Downloaded at 8am EST. No key as of 2pm EST (yes, I checked junk folder).

Almost 4 hours later, and I still haven't received the code via email.
Any ideas why it's taking so long?

The developer wrote: "The key features of Filter Forge include the filter editor and a free online library of user-created filters. You can access the library directly from the user interface of Filter Forge. Currently the library contains more than 13,800 filters."
I want to make sure if the above statement means that while using the Filter Forge I need to be connected to the net whether I want to use filters offered by the programme or work offline? And what other features are offered by FF only in the on-line mode?

It did take some time... just like before (applied just before 10am) and with some patience (received 12:23pm) and finally receive my registration.

Been waiting a few hours for the code to arrive but they're apparently suffering high demand, unsurprisingly, so in the meantime I checked out the trial.

Some of the presets are really nice, especially the more organic ones, and for anybody who uses 3D software such as Blender this is ideal for creating textures. Not only can it produce seamless textures but will also export normal, diffuse, and bump maps (this won't mean much to those not familiar with such software), Definitely one to grab if you're a 3D hobbyist as I am.

Definitely a keeper, now I just need the code to arrive!

GOTD keeps saying that it has sent me a link to download this program, BUT after several attempts, its nowhere to be seen in my emails...

I'm curious as to the popup that shows on the screen following us entering the license code that asks us to upgrade to ver 10.0 where we get access to 13,300 filters from your library. I am curious because the description to this program above offers us access to the 13,800 filters, but it would seem we don't get that without upgrading to the new version. Am I correct in that understanding?

Install seemed to go OK. Still waiting for the key to be emailed. According to the install it installed a photo.net plugin but not one for Photoshop Elements 2023.

I've been using Filter Forge for years and it is my one of my top 5 go to plugin programs I use with Paintshop Pro. It is amazing all the choices of plugins that are available. I can not say enough great things about it. It is wonderful for creating unique and wonderful effects on our photos/graphics. 5 stars!!!!!

After install on Windows, how come the icon doesn't appear on my desktop? I wanted the standalone app. I don't use photoshop. How do I open this program to edit photos? Thanks.

How long before the licence key arrives,? I have been waiting over half an hour.

I paid for a subscription to this, but I found it useless for doing print book covers since I need 300dpi for that. Waste of time and money. Might be worth it if you're a hobbyist, but beyond that...

It appears (from the software website) that the latest version is 12 which includes filters for videos. Version 9 (GOTD version) is only for stills. I would've snapped it up if GOTD had offered version 12.
