I have a video editor but I was looking for a video editor that was quiclk and simple to use so I tried Fast Video Maker.
One of the main things peopledo is to it trim videos clips, but for Fast Video Maker I can find no way to do this. There seems to be on time line cursor that I can move and have in and out marks.
I might see if there are instructions on using Fast Video Maker on it's site for trimming videos, but this is a basic function of all video editors that should be simple to do. I have not explored other features yet.

I'm having trouble wondering why someone would want this when Academy Award winning software used in several movies is out there for free? Google Lightworks or DaVinci Resolve 16.

Nowadays we need "AI". If it can "randomly" generate a new movie based on provide movies / photos, will be great.
In fact Google photos already has similar functions. You have to be better or else no one will use yours.

Download & install no issue. Email of registration was fast. Registered fine, however the option to register is still active after registering. It does show registration status under "About". Program is fine for a quick video where you do not have to trim your videos, use any transitions etc. It appears to be able to join, add simplistic text and add sound. I could not find any trim function or any way to preview your video before saving so have it removed it as that for me is a basic need.

Richard , that is something new and perturbing with Google Chrome. False alarm on exactly the same sort of files you download every day.
If Chrome doesn't fix this behavior, I am deleting it and using another browser.

Pretty standard offering, tons of programs like this everywhere. However I decided to give it a shot. It's pretty 'clunky' and not the easiest program to use. I went to register the program and at first was unable to input the code as the splash screen that lets you to create a video stops you putting in the registration code. I finally found the workaround was to start to create a video and that way you can access the registration button. Not really overly impressed but will keep for a while to mess around with. I have 366 days to do so before the program expires!

Tried this and then found the finished videos have a watermark on "free "version ! So,removed it from my pc.

Alexa, left top corner menu. within settings. the update box is greyed out with a tick in it preventing any interaction, i.e. to remove the tick. so i presume no way of stopping it updating automatically.

Downloaded and installed. launched and it just sits and shows please wait while we set things in motion, after 5 mins force quit it and uniinstalled.

It won't let you click register to insert the Key
the promo page to buy the upgrade covers the main page
when you get rid of the promo page ad covering the page
the whole software closes.
Had multiple tries at registering but the software keeps closing.

Robert Martin, Same problem with registration. I too have tried multiple times to register by deleting the program and reinstalling. The registration screen is blocked out. Nothing worked.
