A movie editing software you should explore!

Do you blink enough? Dry or tired eyes often accompanies us while working at a computer. Mostly, it is because of low blink rate in front of the screen, which is often too bright (mostly at evening). Eyeblink makes stats of your blink rate available for you. In a case of low blink rate, a reminder rolls out which is dismissed by your next blink. This way Eyeblink trains you to alter your blinking pattern if needed. It even adjusts the screen brightness automatically, similar as your phone does to suppress the excessive screen light.

NB: The license is provided for 1 year.

Installed. I kept winking at my monitor, which thought I was flirting with it. Uninstalled.

If purchased for $14, is that a yearly licence or lifetime?

Welcome to another tool for the NSA & the CIA and whatnot, to make you turn on your webcam willingly, without making them waste time by getting through some backdoors to do that and you are letting them watch your every move online and in real life.

    Concerned,
Hi these agencies, do not need software like mine, they can hack drivers and you have no idea, no led is on, etc.

Eyeblink Training can have options to write any message and flashes on screen in specific places.

How to rename "blink training" to be self-explanatory?
The idea informer widget doesn't work, so I am leaving feedback here:

Your Eyes Need Blinks, Like Workouts Need Rest Intervals. Optimize Your Life.

How would you want automatic brightness to work?
Daytime / Waking Hours Optimize; Sync to HealthKit on iOS for sleep patterns data

The best idea for eyeblink in general.
    eyeblink = eyerest = eyeoptimize = eyeperformance = eyeexcellence.

it says not compatible with flux, so I did not install. I like the idea of checking the blink, but also when my camera is on, it uses a lot of system resources. I like flux

George James Ducas, you can use flux and eyeblink together, the automatic brightness will be disabled when flux is detected

Andrey, I think you did not understand what he wrote. and you have no idea of your own software. Eyeblink is not compatible with Flux!

    Brilliant!
Installed (and registered) completely smoothly on Windows 7 64 laptop. Never used the webcam before but up and running in seconds and soon calibrated. Am using the laptop with 2 external screens so the laptop screen is off but still works fine. I have been conscious of the need to blink for years so don't get too many reminders but feel that every one is a little gift of well-being... Also feel that having it installed makes you think about blinking more anyway (which is a good thing) plus I think the reminders actually help your muscle memory to remember to blink more, which is a double bonus.
Many thanks indeed to Eyeblink and GOTD.

    .
This is ONLY for folks with serious eye problems ( who can insure their camera is NOT also broadcasting to the web ).
    .

Windows 10 has great settings, and there are free utilities from IrisTech.com, KnightVision.biz, and extensions for Google Chrome ( what do we REALLY use the most ? ), such as Font Rendering Enhancer, Color Enhancer, Eye Protector ...

Peter Blaise, I disagree, it is for everybody who wants to do something. It is the only software which measures blink rate and interacts with you by blinking. You can check your network bandwidth, Eyeblink communicates only at startup to verify the license or sends stats (if enabled).

    [ Andrej ],

I believe in your software and hardware match up idea for people who have the eye problems you mention at your web site ...

... but you are encouraging all your users to get used to the light being on next to their camera all the time.

YOU cannot guarantee that the light on next to the camera is YOUR software.

When you can do that, then your software will be safe.

That's why I suggest folks balance their risk, and ONLY use your software if they have disease that they cannot manage any other way.

Folks are risking their computer, or their personal identity, getting a "disease", through someone else hacking their camera ( and microphone ), yet the end user is so used to the light being on that they do not know it's not you, hence my suggestion of alternatives for screen / eye comfort.

    Good luck with this challenge.

Also, I have no camera at the computers I sit at most, so I am not able to derive any benefits from your offered software features anyway.

    Peter Blaise,
for those folks you mention, I have a feature too. The camera can be used by one software at one time, so when eyeblink cannot use webcam a balloon notification informs the user about it.

TK, Hi, what are your experiences in app development? If you are skilled driver developer you can create an app which would split the webcam screen like special kind of software does called webcam splitter
