Correcting and adding to my previous comment:
The resulting mp3 file was 568 Mb and not k ... and it took just a few minutes to convert. This was from a major Audible collection file, so usual audiobook files are not so large and would convert more quickly. -Cheers!

Installed, received the registration data in seconds (I'm in Brazil), registered instantly and working normally on a win 7 64 bits system.
Pros: Tested the conversion of 574 Mb original Audible file (M4b) into Epubor's .flac (lossless audio format) file with its default settings, resulting in a 4.21 Gb file (just to see what it would do). It took about 40 minutes to handle this large file.
Next, converted the same original file into Epubor's default mp3 setting, resulting in a 568 k file, ok.
Cons: Oddly enough, you can't chose the mp3 compression rate and it does not say what setting it is using! That's a major setback. Also, the interface could be sleeker with a more professional look and feel. However it seems to work ok so far.
I haven't tried any other formats in this program yet.
Alternatively, I am converting the 4.21 Gb lossless file in Freemake Video (and audio) Converter which is a great free program I use with a fine interface where one can chose the output bitrate to mp3. It's taking a while to do the job (over an hour) so later I will know the final file size at 192 kbps which is perhaps a decent compromise between lossless and a highly compressed mp3 to burn onto cd/dvd and listen on a car player.

RobertR,
Many Audible files are already encoded as MP3, which is encrypted within the Audible container. I assume that Epubor is simply extracting the MP3 data from the container, thus preserving the original compression rate. That would explain why it doesn't let you chose the settings. Any MP3 player should be able to tell you what the actual bit rate is.

Chet,
Epubor team concerns customers' time and content quality first, this is the reason why you can't see the bit rate option. Save your time when converting and preserve the output contents' quality is the most important, right?

Installed fine but when I try to add an Audible file it tells me that it "Failed". Why is that? Am I missing something? The files from Audible downloaded fine so what seems to be the issue? Can anyone help?

What am I missing? I have attempted to install this several times, and I get a confirmation that it activated after I click on the Setup file - but no program is installed. It's been a while since I've used this site, so I'm wondering if there's another step I'm just not seeing.

Figured it out. I had only disabled the File Shield on Avast. Once I also disabled Behavior Shield and Web Shield it installed as expected. Registered with the giveawayoftheday email and converted an Audible book to MP3. Very handy. Thanks!

It won't open for me either - on Windows 10.

Installed and ran fine on Windows7 64-bit. Decrypted 3 audible titles to MP3 format very quickly. However, using Winamp, the files would play for 1 or 2 seconds and hang. Foobar would not play at all -- it reported "unable to query sample rate." VLC was able to play the files OK. Conversion to other formats is supported (WAV, FLAC, OGG, etc.), so one of those might work better. I have not tried them, yet. Happy now to be able listen to my Audible books in the car, or anywhere I want without the need for a special Audible player.

The program will not accept the giveaway email address when trying to register, it also wants a licence key.
