Does it rip hollywood DVDs? It says"not protected" but I'm not sure what that means. Anyone try that yet?

The product page says: "DVD RipR does not support protected content.", which means that you'd need some other software to handle the DRM before you used DVD RipR on most DVD & Blu-ray video discs you bought. That does not make DVD RipR useless however, as DVD & Blu-ray rippers and copiers that can manage DRM are usually sold separately. So if you bought something like DVDFab Passkey, which allows playback & copying, this would let you convert [rip] the results to another format.
