Hi
I successfully downloaded and registered the product. It showed that the product is registered to me. Then some thing strange happened. The App disappered from my PC. The instructions clearly say not to reinstate if we want to maintain free status. Can some one help me why this happened and what I should do retrive the program

Got a notice that a reply had been posted- asking "J, How did you find the landing page for a code?"

Answer A - The install read me file had a link. I went to the link and on the bottom left there was the code.

Answer B - I found it a little confusing, actually. I ran the install file, then clicked the link in the read me file. But on the page that opened, the first thing I saw was another Install file. Wasn't sure what it was. Different title, different file size. I wasn't sure if I was supposed to install that instead of, or over the GAotD install file.

Eventually I saw the code in the same window. But it was confusing.

J, Thank you! I eventually did find an address but not a link. I saw the different files and after working on reinstalling etc.because the code did not work with the original install, I was able to access it. Almost questioned if it was worth the risk.....considering the company made it so confusing! Time will tell! I appreciate your response!

My pleasure, glad it worked out. Yeah, I recall now also that the install file that was on the link that opened... the second install file, not the one that came from GAotD, pinged a warning from Windows. About installing from unknown sources or something similar. It looked like maybe one was an 'app' and the other a proper application. I don't know, whatever. It's working for me and I'm glad you got it working, too.

Is there a registration code for the giveaway version?
I installed, but it is currently the trial version.

Launch the program and see a pop-up registration window.
Go to the landing page below and select the option "Directly get the code" in the bottom part.
Copy the code and paste it into the registration window.
Press "Register" to activate the license.

I'm sorry, I must be missing something. There is no "Directly get the code" link on this page or on the app. There is no "landing page" that I can access.

John Sylvester, if you look in the readme.txt file that came with the setup.exe file, you will see a website address.

Go to that website, click on the Directly get this code link, then below there will be a registration code.
Highlight and copy that code, then go back to the program, and enter the registration window that will pop up.
If the program comes up without that registration window, click on the square with the diagonal arrow at the top right of the program beside the minimize button, select Register, and paste that code into the program.
The program will thank you, close the program, then reopen it again, and your copy will be registered.

John Sylvester, It's as simple as reading the file that says "Readme" in the zip file you downloaded from here.

It's the same with EVERY giveaway...

John Sylvester, from the Readme.txt file the landing page that ny1902 didn't mention is https://www.mediadimo.com/free-video-converter

You should always look at the Readme.txt as it will give you full registration details and often other useful infomation about the program. For example that you should be careful about auto-upgrade, as it may invalidate the GAOTD offer.
