I have the lic., now where do I enter it on the software. There is no place to enter it. How do I know if its registered.

Managed to download, install and even managed to register without any issues .... Just wish I hadn't wasted my time. Attempted to convert a .mkv to .avi,.mp4 and other formats but each time I ended up with a black screen with just the audio.

Worth noting that despite all the issues and the questions that the developer hasn't once made any attempt to answer or resolve them .... The response or lack of response is a good measure of just how good/bad a developer is. This one just ain't there!

I did not get the code to register the program. Neither ask for email and there was no pop-up.

Followed the simple instructions. Installed to Windows 7 64bit no problems at all. Registered with no problems. All functions working as advertised. Don't know why others are having problems.

This is a pretty good converter but it strictly aimed at creating 4K or other HD videos which have large out put files.Example: it took a 697 MB video and converted it to 6.8 GB video. this is great if that's your one goal. The conversion speed was way slower then expected. The video downloads requires that you copy and past the URL....Great if the video you want has a URL to copy.. I found no way to increase or decrease the volume out put. This could be much better if it added the ability to choose if u want 4K or just a regular conversion with the choice of a smaller out put file. As i stated before if all u want is to convert to 4K or HD then this is a good choice. Just not for me !

walt...i should have payed more attention to the feedback...if it won't download 'youtube' it won't work on anything maybe one of these days we'll get a downloader that 'actually works'...until then I will continue to us 'Ant video downloader' which works on EVERYTHING including Youtube...

It is best in trimming video songs & then convert it into mp3. Too good.

Hi, At times (for some other soft wares also) after downloading, and when started to install, I get a message "A required privilege is not held by the client". I don't understand what this is. Even when I Run as Administrator, I get the same message. Any body can help me? Thank you in advance.

User friendly with good quality conversion

Fast and excellent conversion from mkv to mp4. I am very happy with this program

Very poor software.

Limited options in the settings for each desired format.

Conversion much slower than previous GOTD offerings.

If you decide to stop a conversion process then you can't as such. You can pause and then you can remove the entry but if you then try and delete the partially created file it will say that it is in use. If you then close the program, it is still in use because the program exe is still running and has to be closed via taskmanager.

Loaded 6 Youtube videos into the downloader and every single one returned an error within seconds.

Not even going to bother trying the mediaserver because the rest is next to useless for my needs and offers little that makes it stand out at all.

The editing features have some potentially useful things but this is a program that attempts to be a jack of all trades but at the expense of the developer making each one efficient and useful and is therefore a jack of none and sadly master of even less.

When I try to get the registration code using the link in the readme file I get 'Hi folks, the giveaway campaign is expired now.' Is the link correct?

I reinstalled the program - same result.

The code problem is browser related. I tried with Edge, IE, and Chrome with the same failure. Firefox worked.

Downloaded and installed okay What about adding a feature where the user can draw a shape such as a circle or triangle and have the video cropped to that shape? Never seen the feature before.....

OK. I finally got my registration code!

How did I do it?

I opened the page in Google Chrome instead of Microsoft Edge.

Evidently the licensing process is broken. I followed the instructions and never received my code.

The license code reveal is not functional. What a shame. I might have bought the full product if I'd had a chance to trial it. As it is, I'm now a little worried about the skills and integrity of the publishers.

Let's see if they're responding....

Downloaded and installed to Windows 7 without problems.
Registration simple, follow emailed link, enter email address and registration appears immediately in a popup, copy and paste and all is done.
If it can download from You tube it's fine by me.

Is giveaway / registration / expiration problem ironed out yet? (I've got version 3.01 installed from a recent giveaway,and don't want to chance losing it to a non-functioning update.)Here's to finding street signs and cars,LOL.

Registration key appeared on Dimo's website after I entered an email address and clicked on submit!

This software was easy to install and registered easily. I have an HP Elite Book. The interface is easy to use. It took a few seconds to figure out how to use it without help. The simple interface helps to convert files and cut videos and I was able to download a YouTube file quickly. Glad to find this software in GWTD. Thanks. Maybe one thing I would have added is the ability to make a video through the vieo cam and this woud have been complete.

1) where the hell can we see that the program is registered?
2) if I understand correctly, this program should allow me to play a video on my Samsung Smart TV from my PC?
If this is the case, the instructions given are unclear : "For TV users, you even can write http://IP:PORT like "http://192.168.1.109:8868/" (without quotation marks) to the address bar of your browser for sharing your media files.
The loaded video source will be listed and you can now play local files or converted movies on mobile devices or TV."

After entering the address bar of my browser, I get a list of media of the source in a page of the browser, but nothing appears on the sreen of my TV! ... and a video is just played in my browser.

I see right Verizon in the GOTD (3.6.1) newer than Verizon in site trial (3.5.1) :D
blur in the windows 10 when scale is 120% and many time force stop uninstalled

It is a very good tool to convert videos!
