I've been getting a lot of failed to download messages recently and as I usually only get to download near the end of the giveaway have lost several decent programs that I would have like to have tried. I don't have the time to get the giveaways when they first start.
I've also noticed the download speed from the giveaway site has reduced significantly recently. Is this due to an increased community base?. My connection is a 150MB broadband connection that gives me around 15MB per second download speeds, so today's program should only take a few seconds to download, but it's taking around 15 minutes instead. I don't think it's my provider that is the issue?

Well it downloaded, installed and registered without any issues after that it went downhill ... This is simply awful, the layout is very amateurish looking and the functionality of the software is so limited that it is practically useless. $19.99 for this .... I suppose everyone can dream. Sorry but just doesn't cut it, there is plenty of freeware out there that will do what this does and a whole lot more besides .... I'd say back to the drawing board.

A word from the wise here, I'd suggest everyone refrain from buying software from this Trisun company, they sell BAD products and have BAD customer service, I am basing these comments on my own personal experience so please, do NOT even bother considering downloading and testing, this one is particularly horrible, looks like my teenage kid with basic knowledge of programming did it, and the worst part, it's USELESS...!

OK first of all this is Date from Event, not Days till Event. I went through the trouble to install it from the website because GOTD installer has issues and doesn't install. I used the key from a text file that worked I used GiveawayOfTheDay as username but, I don't know if that is 100% necessary. I then uninstalled it as it is a waste of space. IMHO This is not useful software at all. It is not well designed. It actually seems like part of a bigger program. But sadly the Calendar and The stuff that would actually make this cool software is just not there. I would not pay for this level of sloppy programming and I would not keep it as freeware. Sorry guy's I call them as I see them.

I can't get the GAOTD program package to install the Date Time Counter 6.0 on my Win 8.1 X64 system either! The "Setup" executable takes me to an installation of "Software Advisor" and NOT to the DTC 6.0 installation app.
Weird behavior, in my opinion, so I think I'll pass on this one.

LOL, I created an excel spreadsheet that gives me fractions of.Year, months, weeks days and seconds to count forward it can calculate forward ( how long to my next birthday, or Christmas Or next F1 race) or backwards How many seconds since I was born, or last christmas.
I started it on pen and paper when I was a kid 40 years ago, and after many iterations am happy with my solution and dare the author to better it for function, even includes a calculated excitement (Chuff) factor as the event comes nearer

So if I add all my birthdays and memorable dates to it, I have to pay next year for it to remind me?
Several calendars, ie, Outllook, Google and even Apple's will do this for free for life.
I don't see the point int this software.

This looked like an interesting program and I tried to install it--twice! Installer completed normally but the software is nowhere to be found.
I was suspicious and did a scan with Malware Bytes and SuperAntiSpyware. They showed nothing and I can find nothing to uninstall.
Very bizarre and I'm still a little concerned. I have not had a GOTD offering do this before.
