GOM Cam is a desktop video capture app that is packed with useful features. It allows you to record anything on your PC Screen, whether that be webcam feed, presentations, video calls, or gaming screens. With GOM Cam you can record what you see on your PC screen exactly as it appears. You can capture images, during recording mode, draw on videos, zoom in/out, schedule recordings, and manage effects. It is lightweight, and consumes minimal system resources.

So this really isn't a giveaway of the day. It's a raffle. out of the thousands of loyal GOTD'ers only one hundred will benefit from this. Hardly seems fair. Either way it looks like a cool program. I've been looking for a desk top recorder with out limitations. Guess the price isn't that bad... ( but free is always better :) )

A nice (Security) feature to add would be a motion activated webcam recorder with a variable set-time for the recording. IE: once motion is detected, the recording continues for X number of minutes and resetting the counterif add'l motion is detected until X number of minutes after all motion is stopped; also a "Maximum" timer of Y number of minutes - for cases where something like wind is making tree branches move all day. If you wanted to get really fancy, you could have it store the movie files in the cloud and/or send an alert to a phone. You'd get a whole additional customer base that way.
