This looks like a potentially very useful program with many features and a clean (but complex) UI. If this made were by a US company I had heard about, I'd install it in a heartbeat.

I tried to find out what country Binarymark is in on Google, but I couldn't. My biggest fear installing something of unknown origin like this is not that I'll mess up my files by using it wrong, but that it might have backdoors/spy on/allow remote control of my PC. Does GAOTD check for these things when they approve a giveaway or just for viruses?

This looks like something that can automatically or manually take a bunch of files and apply various filters to change the file system or file contents. Of course it's potentially dangerous if you make a mistake.

Not being able to find info on Binarymark scares me a bit, or maybe it's my lack of search skills. I don't remember seeing any prior giveaways get only 3 comments, so the lack of comments also scares me making me think everyone else is avoiding this product for some reason.

So, something that looks potentially very useful to me (especially the regular expressions part) I'm scared off from trying by too little info on the company, too few reviews, and too few comments.

This reminds me a lot of gifts of food that show up at my front door around Christmas time, like a fruit basket, cake, or cookies, without any note saying who it was from. Without knowing who they came from (and if they are someone I trust) all those nice gifts go straight into the trash. Just this week someone left a bag of oranges at my door without a note and those went into the trash in spite of my loving fresh oranges. TLI on these giveaways means I won't touch them.

Took a look at their web site and found that this program does a huge amount of things.
This type of program needs a manual (psd file of instructions) so you don't make errors in what your trying to achieve automatically.

It installed alright, Windows 10, then after the first error a message box asked if I would like to install it or run it in portable mode again, (I thought it had installed already) now I'm getting fatal errors each time I try to use it :-(

I tried it, not for me, the conditional file sequences messed up my filing system, created duplicates of many files and documents, uninstalled. To the user, one small mistake can destroy your files if you are not very very very careful and by the way, who mixes text with binary data, unless you are programmer, stay away from that function.

After installation, the program notify's about text size. It can't go bigger then 100%.

This system needs 120 %.

When setting the text size to bigger than those 10, to maximum 16..
What should happen, can't see anything happening?

When the program is started when a file is added, the program closed and go to the Windows Start Menu and choose the program Batch Files, click on it and the program shows "Can't set text size", the next windows asked to Upgrade or (something like that) Evaluate/Compare option.
But NO GUI starts up or whatever.
Yeah, one notification somewhere (after giving it more than one try to start the programs GUI) the program is already running, can't run more than one, or you must buy another license.

I will give it some tries more and see what will be! :)
