This is not compatible with windows 7 32 bit systems, although it may run on windows 7 64 bit.

Hello, I unistalled version 2021and it was a mistake, because this version 2024 is only for 64-bits Windows. But you get that information late when you start to install new version. It ought to be written in the system requirements.

Josef, I try to unpack the supplied setup.exe using innoextractor or 7zip if it's a NSIS installer and examine the details of the files using freemium InspectExe properties extender. Keeping an archive of old installers can *sometimes* get you out of a hole. Most installer scripts are infantile and do not even check for bit width of hos operating system or even version and will blindly install a 64bit component onto a 32bit system or a windows 7 or above onto an XP or Vista system or Windows 10/11 only build of chrome engine onto a Windows 7 system.
All in an effort to circumvent the problem you have experienced. Check to see if you have system restore activated on the drives relevant to your installation, you might be able to roll back a few days before this giveaway messed up your working older version. Good luck!
