The Audials One 2021 Edition is a subset of the flagship Audials One. The focus is on the popular music features.
Audials shows you all the music in the world. Hits, the latest charts, albums, discographies, 120 genres and up to 20,000,000 MP3s all at your disposal.
If the user finds any website that lists songs, such as charts, best-of pages, playlists, etc., he simply copies the URL of the page and inserts the link in Audials. As if by magic, all the songs on the site are listed, which you can listen to, add to playlists, or put on wish lists.
Record music from Spotify, Deezer and other streaming services, download it from Soundcloud and other portals, or record it as a private copy of internet radio streams. Save any track in top quality as an MP3, AAC or WMA in up to 320 kBit/s. Lyrics and tags are automatically added too.

I am on Windows 7 for this attempt at installing. Compatibility includes Windows 7. I have tried 4 different times to install it. Including turning OFF my firewall. (Which Windows now complains about... )
I am obviously connected to the internet because i was able to download the installer from GOTD. And I've been able to go to te Audials site for info. And I am able to post this comment. But the installer does not allow me to install the program. Error Message is:
"Setup requires a working Internet connection to proceed. Make sure your computer is connected to the internet and click 'OK'. Please check your proxy and firewall settings if the problem persists." So, no proxy usage. And I turned OFF the firewall. What more can be done??????

downloading took a while. once it is started, the brightness of the screen increases to maximum and once it is closed the brightness returns to normal. Anybody expereinced it. If not grateful for any advice as to how to overcome this issue. Using Windows 10 pro updated to the latest version.

I, too, had issues with accessing the download site like Arne, Dean and Ray. Tried multiple times, and even reached a 100% download when pop-up about internet connection surfaced. Too bad, since it had a lot of features I would have liked to try

A program that promises much, with some users saying that it in fact delivers.
A few years back I tried the then current edition of this program from a giveaway, installing the portable edition to a stick -- as a low-risk, clutter-free method of trying it out. I was disturbed to discover that even this method left copious files detritus all over my boot drive, often in places where it proved difficult to track down and remove it. That **ain't** what I'd call "portable", folks. Portable means *entirely self-contained*, which you can then easily carry around with you on portable media, to anywhere there is a compatible computer from which to run it. (Where there may be some speed performance penalty by way of going with this portable option, so be it. A reasonable tradeoff in my view.) That proved a quick end to my Audials One experiment at the time. Flash forward to now: I don't know whether or not Audials still implements a portable option, or whether it still follows this same pattern. I'd like to find out. If so, it would remain a non-starter for me. Either way, I would strongly recommend installing anything that behaves like this software via Revo, to facilitate removal if you should decide that it isn't for you.

Downloaded and installed easily. After filling out the registration form, I'm taken to a blank "Audials Update Center" page. Nothing happens for about a minute, so I close the page. Then the home page has an "UPDATE" program, which takes me back to the blank "Audials Update Center" page. How can I make certain the program is activated? Thanks to all for your help! Stay safe!

What's the difference between this giveaway and the freeware that is available in the audials website? Is this just a freeware or the additional features included?

Not recognising internet connection on install for 3 attempts. Then register using FB get a message telling me treat 'the above URL' like my password except there is no URL. Start app asked to login but I have no details. Go through long winded password rest procedure which keeps switching to German despite having chosen English as my language and eventually get a message (in German) which translate to 'an unexpected error has occurred'. Left a message on Auddials FB page to this effect - wonder if I'll get a response?

In 2019, this site gave away "Audials One Music 2019 SE". How does this differ?
Should one uninstall that and install this instead, or would that be a downgrade?

Audials Music just does music. Audials One 2021 is that latest, top of the line version. It does radio, video, Netflix, Prime, Spotify and many other streaming services. And you can record from them, as long as you have an account. It can even record anything played through your computer's sound cards. I already have it, or I would get it here. You can keep the "music" one installed...but you won't need it, as this one does it all.

On purchased copies, there's no overwrite. I can't say what they'll do on these Giveaways. I purchase from them just about every year), and my Windows 10 app list shows Audials 2016, Audials 2017, ... Audials 2020. I just clicked on Audials 2016 to be sure it's still runnable, and yes it opened as RadioTracker.
That's how their purchased products work. A reasonable guess would be that they do the same thing (not overwrite) on these Giveaways, but that's just a guess.

I tried to install regular and administrator mode but I keep getting the message I need to have an internet connection to install this. I do have an internet connection although it is WiFi 5G not a direct cable connection. I can download and upload just fine. I have 100 MB Fiber internet into the house. Why am I having this trouble? Any suggestions? Windows 7

Probably similar except updates to how it works, is my guess. The purchased Audials One includes video features, but this Giveaway ("subset of the flagship Audials One") describes only the music subset. But we don't know what subset they chose.
