Ashampoo does not mention that there is software that should not be uninstalled with an uninstaller. An example of this is Paragon's hard drive manager. The manufacturer Paragon is still well known to many visitors to this site. He also offered his software here until some time ago. He warns against removing his software with an uninstaller for good reason. Anyone who does this will find that from now on they will no longer be able to unlock Paragon software. Not only can the version removed with an uninstaller no longer be used. Also, other, and newer versions can then no longer be activated.

Conclusion: If you think you must use an uninstaller, you should find out beforehand whether the manufacturer in question strongly advises against it.

If you install this giveaway Ashampoo UnInstaller 11 over the previous giveaway version Ashampoo UnInstaller 10, will it retain the installation logs that were saved in the prior version?

Rick, I have just upgraded from version 10 and can confirm that this version 11 picks up all the program installation logs generated by the earlier version. You needn't hesitate with this one.
