Ashampoo Undeleter detects and then recovers your accidentally deleted files and directories. You can also choose on which devices or partitions you would like to look for deleted files. The search is not only limited to the hard drives of your PC, but can also be carried out on external hard drives, USB flash drives, etc.

In addition to the results list of the search, the condition of the detected files is displayed too. Now you can see whether the whole or only parts of the deleted file can be recovered or whether it cannot be recovered at all. The current version downloadable from Ashampoo is V. 1.1.1.

BTW, I wasn't faulting anyone for this generous offer; my only point was for GAoD to choose their URL names more meaningfully. The "...-3" at the end of the URL momentarily made me believe this was version 3 (even though they clearly stated it was v1.11). For the same money, they could have either dropped the '-3' or used '1.1'. Apologies to those who were offended by my comment so let's all pretend I said nothing.

I have Ashampoo Uninstaller 9. Is there a reason to install this version, and if I did, should Version 9 be uninstalled first?

Strange that the URL shows '...undeleter-3' but this is the same version 1.11 that I installed years ago.

dan, I think that GOTD is built on WordPress. If there was a previous Giveaway for the software, which there obviously was, then the new page will have a number appended to it automatically by WordPress. The giveaway is CLEARLY labeled as v. 1.11, so that's on you, bud.
