Hi there!

I'm here to help if you have any problems installing, using or uninstalling the program!

Alternatively, you can ask for support via the website at https://www.epixeditions.com/01/eng/cntcts.htm

Program installs and uninstalls just like any other program!

Sometimes restarting a computer may be required, or manual revert to the default Windows background after uninstalling. But that's all!

If you need assistance, ask here first!

Do not try to mess with your system as this is NEVER required! Any problem you may stumble upon is ALWAYS caused by user error (change settings without noticing, like hiding icons by mistake, etc.), and can be fixed as easily as it can happen.

Just ask! :)

Scott, these are nice pictures, but are static, I guess some just like pictures. It would be neat to have a screensaver like thing instead that actually has moving fish. I have such a program, old, but it still works on W10P x64. Anyway it is good for people that like plane pictures :) And yes It can be made to show different "pictures".

Scott, I did "just ask" & my ? was not answered so I'll just keep the original ePix edition.

Scott, You should specify how to totally uninstall please

Hoody,

Thanks for the comment. We're working with photographers mostly so we don't have enough access to cool videos that can seamlessly wok in the background.I believe I know which program you're talking about but if I'm right they used 3D rendered video?

Betsy,

I answered few moments ago... for some reason I didn't see the question until now! Sorry!

Anyway, you can install this one too. They will merge, not collide.

Also, don't worry, the gift code validation will work for 24 hours after the giveaway is officially finished. So you have enough time to install it :)

Louise,

It's uninstalled the same way as any other Windows program.

Procedure may slightly differ depending on the actual Windows build (not just version) but it usually means you should open the "Add or remove programs" in Windows settings. Select the "ePix Calendar" in the list, and click "Uninstall".

To open "Add or remove programs" open Windows search and start typing "Add or remove programs" It will appear in the list.

If you're having some specific issues, let me know and I'll help you deal with it.

The most common problem we hear is either that the background image is still there after uninstalling, or that the background image is gone but the earlier one (the one you had before installing) did not reappear.

If this is what happened to you, you should open the "Display" within the Windows "Settings", go to the bottom and click "Personalize your background and other colors" and adjust everything to meet your needs.

Hope this helps.

We'll stop monitoring this thread soon, so in case of a problem, you can contact our support through the link I gave above.

Thanks Scott, but I didn't realize the fish don't "swim" so I'm okay with the forest and streams. My Windows 7 came with moving fish screensaver so I'll use it when I feel like going fishing, LOL!

After uninstall, it keeps coming back, what is wrong, what can I do to get it away forever?

I just replied in the initial thread :)

Thank you GOTD & ePix! I have had your other calendar programs & always wanted this <3 As always, this was very easy to download & install on Windows 10 64 bit. Works like a dream.

not a bad program. has some cool options. I do like the calendar on the side of the screen.
the only real issue I have with this is that the resolution of the images is not the greatest. there should be a setting where you can change the resolution of the background image displayed. the images on my monitors are a bit fuzzy IMO. also having the ability to stretch and image across ALL monitors (of course you would need a really high res image for that).

Blasckrose613,

Actually, images should work okay on all displays up to 4K, but in this case most likely problem is in fact that those photographs were all taken in less than ideal conditions, in the dark, and some are not tack sharp as one would expect under ideal conditions.

Stretching across all monitors is actually planned :)

It will not work with the "regular" images though but some blurry colored backgrounds. It's not just the resolution that's the problem but also the unpredictable "crop". Images may get oddly framed this way...
Anyway, this is not really a requirement for most of the people so it's not high on our priority list :(

It's more likely that we'll create sets of multiple images that can be perfectly aligned on multi monitor setup. A sort of a puzzle that a user will have to arrange manually depending on the setup :)

I already have the ePix edition with waterfalls and foilage and I like it very much. My question is: can I install this aquarium edition and keep the waterfalls, etc. but putting it to "sleep", so to speak? I like the fish too, relaxing.

Betsy,

You can install this one too. It will just add the new images and keep the old ones!

Glad to see you like it :)
