I downloaded and installed the program... then I requested and received the registration information and registered the program and the program was then ready to use. I closed the program and went to start it up again, but have not been able to locate it in my list of programs ( I had declined the desktop shortcut ). I have Windows 7 64 bit... any suggestions anyone?

App failed the first time I used it tonight. Same thing two more times. It said: Application fault! The thread attempts to read from or write to a virtual address for which it does not have access. It's bust, fellas!

The software will crush on windows 10 version 1803.

@7, HQ points out there are many freeware (good ones) available. Has anyone determined if this is time-limited yet?

Visited site...no video demos of ASR. They post screen captures but I'd expect to see videos re this type of product.

Waited two hours for the registration code by email - nothing came. Tried the "Retrieve Registration Code" link in their website - the link connected to nothing. Tried to get registration code using a different email address - no reply after an hour. No replies in my spam. So I have sent an email to their support - maybe that will work.

I like this program, and recommend that you grab it.
You have nothing to lose.

You can uninstall it later if you decide you don't like it.

Also, if it helps:

Make sure to deselect the "Check for updates" in the Preferences, (Others tab) in order to prevent the program from an untimely deregistration.
You might also uncheck the "Start the application on logon" to prevent the program from running in the background and using your computer's resources unnecessarily, this is especially true if you own an older machine.

Installed fine, got code fast. Program worked well. Will be a keeper for me. The reason they do so many giveaways of the similar programs is so users like us can try them and decide what we like best. As far as I can tell this is NOT trial software, but full program for as long as you decide to keep it. As for commenter saying most comments on here that are positive are "fake" is simply not true n how would they know? Everyone has a different experience some more pleasant than others n that's how they post. I even like that you can record just audio with this. Must be relatively new company though. When I looked them up most results came from 2018. Anyhow 2 thumbs up from me!

Note that this program phones a lot. For example after recording a short test screen video, my firewall said the program wanted to phone home to its stats.apeaksoft.com server. I couldn't find a way to disable this phone home feature. I blocked its request.

Installed program fine on Windows 10. Code came almost immediately, it did go to my spam folder though. Entered code and activated fine.

Works well, 2 min desktop , mouse is highlighted , less than 3 Mb. Very happy with program.

I downloaded the program.
I clicked on the "record".
I received a message saying "I will receive the registration code by email".
It has been probably two to three hours have passed since, but has not yet received any registration code.
I tried the registration again, but I'm told that the email address is used!
Too bad! Wasted time wasted!

I cant send for Registration Code! The form just doesn't respond after I feel in my e-mail and press Request for Free Registration Code.

On another note: Just curious I looked them up, online, they seem to be a relatively new company. Only stuff I could find was from this year.

Seems to work well, had no trouble installing. The reason for all the different "giveaways" screen recorders, is each does something different. Each person, like myself likes to test them out to see what we prefer to use. I like that is can also record sound as well. No where do I see. like one commenter said. that it was only a one year subscription. Thanks for another useful giveaway. At least for this commenter! Also had to trouble downloading and installing on Windows 10 64bit with all firewalls turned on.

License Privacy Statement says "Adolescents may not use the services provided by Apeaksoft Studio to browse the content of any illegal, obscene, pornographic and other violations of public order and morals."

Does this mean that Apeaksoft is tracking all our internet traffic? How else could they know an adolescent (or any user) is looking at a pornography site?

Am totally impressed! AWESOME!! I will have to play with this software, but it works perfectly with YouTube! Better than all the other programs I have used!

Thanks. One of the easier installs and registrations I have experienced of late. Program runs fine on my Windows 10 i5 based Dell.

more trialware.

when i first came here a malware bytes unlimited licence was being offered. this was 6 years ago. i still have it. that was what happened, unlimited. but with all the trialware here i'm losing interest in this page. the two other giveaway pages i use are also now trialware. one the other day offered 24 hour access. someone said on their 'back to the torrents for me'. that is where i think many will go.

Win 10 64-bit Downloaded and registered without incident. Actually used the program BEFORE I left this comment. Very straight forward with easy to use controls. Image quality was excellent and provided different frame rates. 2 minute video @ 24 fps was ~ 2MB so not a large resource hog. After recording allows user to place file wherever desired. This is a keeper.

I would suggest they provide an option for a tutorial to show functions when opening the program. Something that can be turned off after familiarity with the program is achieved.

will not install. States "a required privilege is not held by the client." Windows defender firewall is off. No other antivirus software is on computer

It's not worth our while. The license is valid for a meager year only...

Installation was a breeze as well as registration.

The program does not work for me.

When I try screen recording, it gives me an error screen saying that it it trying to read from a vurtual address that does not exist.
The program asks me to send the error message to the company, but it does not let you copy/paste or give you options. You click OK and the program closes.

Win 7 pro

Have used a few screen recorders over the years, some needed an IQ in 4 figures to get working. This one is easy to use and looks like a lot has gone into making it so. Excellent program, thanks GAOTD and Apeaksoft.

When you register they want your email address in place of Name and the registration number is a Long series of letters don't enter the 50% off Coupon code my mistake.

Installed without incident. D/L link was sent quickly. Installed on Windows 64 bit Pro. Registration code came quickly also. All options working. Make sure when you get you registration code you register the code, not the coupon code. The registration code is long, the coupon code is not. Thank you GOTD.

Downloaded, installed on Windows 7, and registered quickly without any problems.

But upon opening the software, anytime I clicked on Video Recorder button, ot crashed, saying "Application Fault!"

What a software! Uninstalled.

There are tons of free screen recording software that can do well. For the charged one, I prefer Wondershare's recorder (which I got free from GAOTD some years ago).

Registration was very fast just now. I appreciate that.
