    Hello iMobie Team

With Trojan Remover finds aapt.exe and says it's Adware
Is a virus or a false alarm

    Best regards

    Thanks for your reply
The answers to the incidental questions are very satisfactory..
    But regarding installation:
    (a) the download worked alright. The subsequent installation did not.
This should not require the internet connection, I tried it often without, as you said disconnect befor registering.
    (b) I also tried it several times with the internet connected. I did not use wi-fi but a USB connection to the phone which supplies the internet.
Each time I waited several minutes, sometimes an hour or more, and tried again. It did not help.

I waited hours for your reply and eventually had to go to bed. I have just got up and found your reply 3 hours ago, but in a few minutes the time for installing will have expired. Alas! This programme, is just the sort of thing that I have been looking for for several weeks. Alas!

iMobie, It has NOT helped _ I still cannot instal it!
I downloaded the setup, but the setup will not work. It says `download' with animations, but nothing happens, it remains at 0%.
Please read my comment again, fully.
Unfortunately the time limit has now expired!

    Bad conception of the program!
    Download and activation too complicated.
Hours wasted and at the end doesn't want to activate.
Very tired and disappointed to explain more or connect to support.
Simply uninstalled now and no longer want this software.

Installed, spent over an hour to try connecting my LG G4 without any success. The installation went into a loop downloading and installing LG mobile software again and again, automatically installed Apple Support still no result. During installation it restarted my computer twice, and kept frustrating me with a never ending failure. Finally I got to the point of no more and came to the conclusion that it is just too bothersome to waste my time and mental energy.
Uninstalled it with all four other sub programs it installed on my computer during the process.
Too bad as I had high hopes for this ...

This loads 'drivers' for my LG K20+ EVERY TIME I connect the phone and NEVER accesses the phone.

As far as I can tell, it's 100% junk or malware/

Installed on WIndows 10 without problems. When I attached my Samsung Note Pro 12.2-inch tablet, I had to put the USB into debug status (or whatever it's called, under Develp[er Mode) before Windows connected to the tablet. Is it a bad thing to leave it in this debug status, for example will it slow down the tablet and/or file transfers due to debugging overhead?

After that, it worked well. Transferred some test files to Windows, and it went quite quickly via the USB 3.0 port on the PC. (Transfers to the PC seemed a litlle slower under USB 2.0 but I didn't really measure the speeds accurately, this was only my ompression.)

Previously I used Windows File Explorer or several free apps from the Android Play Store to move files to and fro between Windows and the tablet. What would you say are the advantages of AnyTrans for Android over these free methods that justify its cost?

    Hello Tony Austin,

Thank you so much for your feedback. And we feel so glad that our AnyTrans for Android helped you transfer your data quickly. And the debug status will not slow down your tablet and file transfer.

Compare with other free methods, AnyTrans is an all-in-one software, running on both Windows and macOS. As an Android manager, it offers you an easier and smarter way to manage all data and files in your Android phone, as well as your tablet and computer – photos, messages, contacts, videos, apps, even large files, and more. You can use AnyTrans for Android to transfer data from Android to Android, from iPhone iPad to Android, from Android to PC/Mac, and from PC/Mac to Android - all available with 1-click. It’s also your freedom to transfer everything over or just move selected data and files.

We’ll keep working hard to make AnyTrans for Android more effortless to use and more powerful to manage your data and files.

    Thank you for your support!

    Sincerely,
    Your iMobie Team

Like others I found that the program would not communicate with my Nexus phone.
That plus the fact that the program suggested an inability to connect to the internet as a possible reason for failing to connect to my phone, leaves me less than excited, I have no desire to have this program upload my files to the internet.

70 megs download, and still has to download the installation from the internet? Very suspicious.

But in the process I found that Windows 10 could read the phone as an external USB, and the phone automatically set itself in the required debug mode, so, while not as convenient, this allows me to simply copy files manually with Windows Explorer.

yet another installer that isn't... Copied to my non-networked PC (which for security reasons I use for all my android devices) and there you go the installer is actually a downloader of the installer... Totally useless to me... Why cant a simple installer be supplied?

I'd like to repeat what comment 8 asked. I have a Samsung tablet with a screen problem. I used a swipe pattern for locking it, and without a working screen I can't unlock it to use the Samsung Kies program to access it's data. When Kies starts up, it does recognize the device, but reports that it must be unlocked before it can continue.

No matter how I try can't activate ( yes I disconnected from internet & program shows activate button) but as soon as I run the program it shows my phone & then won't install driver even though my pc has a driver that works. Download Moboplay ( open source and always free) and it not only works the first time, but has all the bells & whistles you would need.

Wolf, I gotta agree, you have to follow the directions to a "T", and you have to read between the lines a bit (meaning you have to read everything and not try to skim read because you are an "expert"), but it seems to work OK. I'm still playing with it, but it so far, so OK.

My question is what route is used to transfer the data from Android to PC. I refuse to use any cloud or other intermedium out of my control (yupp I am a control freak when it comes to my privacy) method and seeking for direct link between my phone and PC with no leaking. asus commented that it requires Internet to work. Is it true and if so what does it need it for in a direct transfer?

Installed and registered w/o problem in Win 10. Connection to my Sony needed some additional settings in the Sony, after Win 10 restart everything works fine, made a complete copy of all files to PC w/o problem. After shut down the windows app i found it impossible to close the phone app in as normal, had to use forced disconnection.

Thank you for answering my question, it seems everyone wanted to know this!
I have downloaded successfully, got the activation from the readme, and pressed the setup. An animation appears, and it says `downloading' (this is within the setup) and a line to show progress followed by 0%.
Nothing then happens except that the animation changes. I can wait ten minutes and nothing else happens. No progress, still 0%.
I have tried this several times (difficult to get out of setup) and tried it on the laptop a few times, the same nothing happens.
Thank you, Rebon, can you help?
Incidentally, does it merely transfer (which is what I want) or can it also copy (which is safer)?
And can it transfer back from PC to phone?
I have to format my phone and do not wish to risk losing data.

Reply   |   Comment by Laxative  –  7 months ago  –  Did you find this comment useful? yes | no (+5)

    Hi Laxative,

Thanks for your feedback. About the 0% problem, it might be your network problem that caused it. If you are using Wi-Fi, please switch to a more stable wired network to retry. If you have already used wired network, please wait for a moment, then try again (maybe when the network is the most stable in one day). And about the "merely transfer" and “copy” problem, the technology adopted by the "transfer concept" of AnyTrans for Android is "copy", that is to say, the data on the source device won't be erased no matter where its data have been transferred to. And yes, AnyTrans for Android also support transferring data back from PC to Phone. Hope my words have made everything clear. And if you have any other questions or concerns, i'd be more than happy to answer. Thanks for your support.

    Sincerely,
    Your iMobie Team

    Thomas,
This has nothing to do with whether the Kindle Fire has Windows. My Samsung S7 doesn't have Windows either.
AnyTrans is a program for Windows for management of Android content (basically). The Kindle Fire uses Android OS, modified for the Kindle.
As it turns out, AnyTrans doesn't work on the Kindle (for me), but it isn't because the Kindle doesn't have Windows, it's because AnyTrans wasn't written with consideration for the Kindle.

Installed fine and recognized my phone, but crashed twice when loading data. Other commenters apparently have had the same experience. If this program doesn't work with a Samsung S7, it's not ready for release.

Windows 10 Home, Motorola Moto G5S ( Lenovo ) - flawless! Imediate backup to PC of everything on the phone.
Thank you VERY much iMobie and GAOTD.

But one note : the Android phone MUST be conected before entering the licence code provided in readme.txt. Give the required authorizations and you're ready to go.

Didn't even had to disable PC's antivirus to download and install. This could be one of the problems some are not being able torun it!!

To do Android-to-Android transfer, I presume AnyTrans needs to be on both devices? So a week from now, if I'm with someone and want to do this, they have to go and buy the app for $39.99? Correct?

Reply   |   Comment by Bruce  –  7 months ago  –  Did you find this comment useful? yes | no (+3)

    Hi Bruce,

This is Rebon from iMobie Inc., the developer of AnyTrans for Android and I am glad to answer your question. Yes, to do Android-to-Android transfer, you need to connect both the two Android devices with AnyTrans via USB cables. You can get the App now for free before the deadline of the giveaway, so later you can directly use AnyTrans for Android to do Android-to Android transfer for free. Hope my words have made everything clear, and if you have any other questions or concerns, please feel free to let us know. Thanks for your support.

When transferring apps to my pc, it only transfers them as .apk files, not the folders and files as they are in my Android phone. I have a Navigation app where my favorite destinations and routes are not accessible without rooting. I had hoped I would get access to these files once they were transferred to my pc. But AnyTrans for Android does not allow that. Would that be a suggestion for improvement?

This is Rebon from iMobie Inc., the developer of AnyTrans for Android. Thanks for your feedback and we feel really sorry for the inconvenience caused to you. For now, if you want to transfer data and files inside the App to your PC, you'll need to root your Android device. We feel really sorry for that as I know from your words that it seems like you have already gave up rooting your device. So, transferring App data and files without rooting will be what we heading for in future updates of AnyTrans for Android. Please stay tuned and sorry again for unable to help you with App data transfer at present. Hope you can understand.

Again and again Program crash when loading data from the phone. Try in every possible manner like "Run as administrator", restart the windows and phone, reassert the mobile cable but in vain. I think the developer wants Beta Testing through the GOTD users because program wants permission for error log sent by the user. Uninstalled and Gave up.

Morris Cox, unanounced beta testing is not fine, presenting clearly unstable beta test phase development program to unsuspecting members of the public not consenting to or able to clean up after an unstable program wrecks a system or android device is Not absolutely fine! Responsible developers hold back beta versions from general release and only offer it to those that WANT to try the latest features and updates and don't mind restoring from backups or system restore points if things go wrong and give feedback privately on bugs found, not in a public comments page expected to be a marketing exercise to improve a commercial products exposure of it's good points not its unstable bad points!

iMobie, My question is what route is used to transfer the data from Android to PC. I refuse to use any cloud or other intermedium outside method and seeking for direct link between my phone and PC with no leaking. asus commented that it requires Internet to work. Is it true and if so what does it need it for in a direct transfer?

    iMobie,
As soon as I read through the description of your app, I immediately wondered, "Well, can it transfer data from Android to Windows?"

Since it IS a Windows app, one would think this feature would be prominently displayed in the description!

This is probably the number one reason an Android/Windows user would be interested in acquiring your program.

Mister Lee -- Absolutely! That was JUST what I was looking for!

Mr Rebon, iMobie really should point this out in your introduction: It is the USP -- the one thing that at least FIRST attracts users....

I am glad to know from you that it CAN transfer to PC's -- but iMobie probably lost a few potential customers because they do not MENTION that....

Anyway, good luck, and carry on the good (?) work -- a query simply because I haven't installed it yet! :-)
