VirusTotal has no complaints, so, like Kerish Doctor ( also Russian ), give it a try, and WATCH IT CLOSELY until we feel a sense of trust.

Then, like CCleaner, inspect what we expect, so we do not get blindsided by malware direct from the vendor.

So... the web examples are in Russian ... drat so much for quickly building a sense of what to expect.

The email arrives in Russian, yet it seems to know "... Chrome xx8.xx0.xx5.xx7 (US) Current session ...", I suppose we can all let Google Chrome handle translations for us.

At their web page for my account, it offers "... NickWare Essential ... [ long number ] ... 2020-09-20 2021-03-20 Subscription CANCELED ..." meaning subscription GOOD ... for the next 6 months.

__________

Anyway this is free:
- Basic system maintenance modules

[ https :// nickware. group/en-us/products/nweo/#get ]

... but we still need to register.

Versus $4/month that offers:
- Deep disk cleanup
- Deep registry cleaning
- Adaptive auto maintenance in the background
- Monitoring devices on an NWE network
- Remote device maintenance on an NWE network
- Priority technical support

__________

Any install watcher can report on changes made to files and registry during installation, I see nothing surprising.

__________

Yes, once
- installed,
- and logged in to a registered user,
- and activated,
... it offers a preview of what it will do.

No, it's all or nothing when there are lists of files, no individual toggle on one file in a list to be deleted, we either delete them all, or we do not delete them all.

No individual action, we either optimise entire selected results, or nothing, we cannot say "go ahead and tweak this one now, and then I'll review the others items".

The presentation is not resizable, it 950x680 pixels maximum, so we should stop buying those big milti-mega-pixels screens - what were we thinking?

Totals, no individual information, such as "2 GB update cache" but then each item in the list has no file size, and we cannot right-click to do anything with items in the about-to-be-optimized list.

Removing "Old browser versions" is nice, I never use prior versions after updating, and this also lists copies of old extensions that have been updated ( but if anyone wants a specific old version, we may want to keep them or backup them up ).

There are no exportable reports available to study before taking action ... it's a little hard to develop trust if we cannot inspect what we expect.

It's real slow to update the screen when expanding lists.

It does not tell us what it is doing as it takes action but has not finished yet.

There's a lot of "undefined ( undefined )" in the user interface, perhaps this is really v0.1 for beta test or alpha test.

If I just want to optimise system settings, I have to open all other results and toggle them off, then return to the results screen where it will then show 0/xxx instead of xxx/xxx for other things to be deleted.

System tweakers seem typical, nothing special, nothing that free alternatives do not also do.

There are terse one-or-two-line explanations at the bottom of the window for each optimization setting, I did NOT find them to be definitive or useful..

It does NOT say "working", but simply removes the [ Optimize ] button, I suppose meaning that there's nothing to optimize anymore, it's done ... oh be patient, it will eventually change the screen to show a results summary and offer a [ Finish ] button.

It says it removed registry elements even though I told it not too.

Restore looks like an all or nothing, no line-by-line selective undo, and no preview of what will be restored.

I tried this on 2 computers, one says it's all alone on my private in-house network, the other says it knows the other computer exists but that it's offline ... this program offers no way to "fix" whatever is blinding the program from seeing each other as active, let alone seeing each other at all.

The first computer that I installed it on, and that I documented all the above on, and that I saw it working on only moments ago, and grabbed tons of print-screens of each step, now says "Nwe0 Error Cannot initialize sockets" and offers NO fix, goes into "offline mode" and then appears NOT to be able to do anything at all.

So I uninstalled it ( again, this is the second install-uninstall routine ), and on the third attempt to install, it won't even install, now saying only "Cannot initialize sockets" and does not believe that I can connect to the Internet ... even though I am typing this post over the web on the same computer.

22:40:38: Cannot initialize sockets

[ Just to confirm that, yes, I am on the Internet, [ Fast. com ] just reported "... English (US) Your Internet speed is 93 Mbps Latency Unloaded 11 ms
Loaded 83 ms Upload Speed 9.5 Mbps Client xxx, US xx8.xx0.xx5.xx7 xxx Server(s) xxx, US xxx, US Settings 80MB v 40MB ^ ...".

So, yeah, I'm on the Internet.

__________

I think they promise that with one subscription, any number of computers on a network WITH THIS INSTALLED can be seen by any other computer WITH THIS INSTALLED, and then maybe we can run the optimizations from one computer on another computer.

Because ... we did not optimize each computer when we installed it on each computer, or something?

Do we minimize it or can we close it, and a service will run in the background?

How do we know it is working or not?

__________

Any fix / repair / maintenance / tweak / optimize program that can't tell that I'm on the Internet when I am on the Internet, and cannot fix whatever is blinding itself, probably is Not Ready For Prime Time Yet, NRFPTY, Nerf Putty.

Also, of course, on the other computer, there are multi-thousand problems to be fixed in the registry, and of course, the cleaning is all, or none, I cannot even just click on "kill references to "...\temp\..." only.

__________

Recommendations for improvement:

- SAVE all downloaded programs during installation and during update, I want to inspect them,

- offer right-click on ANY item for us to take immediate action on, such as when we point to a log file, let us right-click, and select "delete now", or "explore", or "keep",

- make all presentation windows resizable,

- offer to fix any errors, especially errors from your own program.

__________

Maybe I'll reboot and try again, or run other utility programs to fix / repair / maintenance / tweak / optimize.

Oh, a simple "repair network" from free [ Tweaking. com ] Windows Repair AIO All In One and rebooting fixed the network, and then NickWare Essentials 0 then reinstalled fine ... what are we exploring NickWare Essentials 9 for again?

NickWare Essentials 0 goes offline by itself, denies me the ability to see other installations on my own network until I manually click [ Reconnect ], and then refuses to reconnect even though it then sees the other computer.

Nope, this is not ready to do what it claims.

I'd suggest free alternatives, but they are easy to find for any feature promised here.

Thanks for letting me explore this and share.

The part " Especially install it before the election " REALLY turns me off.
Why on earth is such a thing be stated? NO WAY would I install this.

I will stick with Wise disk cleaner (free version) that you can schedule daily at anytime or login or even weekly. Not saying the pro version isn't good! Just comparing freebie with freebie.

So many American j*rk-offs here being their usual xenophobic selves. There's no nation on Earth that spy more on their own and everyone else than the Yankees and you still cry about the Russians? Can't be more brainwashed than an American and that's a fact..sad that this site can't even care enough to delete xenophobic and hateful comments but what to expect really..?

TK, you're so full of it that you can't even understand that I use YOUR derogatory wording against you to show how YOU behave. But what to expect from a nation who bomb or sanction everyone who don't bow down for your mafia style demands. Don't tell a USA citizen that they're not every American, they firmly believe that they're the only Americans out there and that they're God's chosen people.

Pretty neat and quite refreshing program,Imho...
Runs ok in a virtual machine (windows 7) and keeps it running smoothly.
For those who don't like the subscription method and don't want to optimize another computer on their local network there's also a free version available to keep you and your system fresh and happy, locally that is.
Most definitively worth to give this program a try.

Minor detail ....I had to use google translate to understand what their email ( confirming the subscription) was all about .
;)
Stay safe.

Except for the "remote maintenance", this sounds a lot like Glary Utilities, with which I am familiar. And there is a good free version. And there are others of the same type. I think they would have to provide a better description of why theirs is better both on their website and in this giveaway.
If I'm wrong maybe they will explain.

I'm wary... if this is such a great program why is there so little detail about it? What does it do, how does it do it? I see no 'support' or 'FAQ' page, nada... other than the same 'blurb' we see here...

And it's from Russia...

I'm not suggesting that there may be security issues, but I'd want to make sure one of the shareholders isn't Vladimir.

Nickware Group,

Thank you for offering your software today, and for your responsiveness to a number of the comments here.

If I may, I'd like to offer a few thoughts that might help you continue to improve your product, service, and the perceptions thereof...

1. Especially here at GAOTD, there is an emphasis on the 'hard sell'. The paragraph provided gave me some vague idea that this program is a system cleanup and optimization utility, but I had to look at the screenshots to confirm that. In my experience, when a product's description is vague, it tends to mean that it is a good idea for me to be distrustful.

2. ...That distrust is not helped by a ".group" domain name. It's entirely possible that it is a matter of 'old knowledge that is past its usefulness', but I've found that software that comes from a domain name other than ".com", ".org", or ".net" tends to come from someone who doesn't want to pay for a more expensive domain. It's completely possible that your use of a '.group' domain was an intentional choice, but I've never gotten an e-mail from anyone with a domain name other than one of those three (and maybe one or two from a country TLD like '.co.uk' or '.de') that wasn't spam.

3. The application looks beautiful. It's clear you've put a lot of thought and effort into making it visually appealing. You should be proud of that. At the same time, the functions seem to be very similar to a number of well known products: Glary Utilities, CCleaner, and Advanced System Care come to mind, with plenty more giveaways here on this site doing similar things. Do you have a standout feature? If so, tell us about it!

4. Robert here, I feel, came off a bit unreasonably harsh here. I've met and worked with some wonderful and skilled Russian programmers, and I am fine believing that you are one of them, and that you have no ill-intent. I say this based on your responsiveness here in the comments and a willingness to be forthcoming about things; most people wouldn't be. That being said, I have had more DDoS attacks, RDP attacks, and SQL injection attempts come from Russian IP ranges than everyone else combined. You may well be one of the good guys, and I'm sorry for the bad will you're experiencing now...but I hope you can understand that while there's some "Russophobia" to be had for political reasons, at least for me, the consistency with which I've had hacking attempts drop like a rock after blocking Russian IP ranges at the firewall level leads me to believe that one doesn't have to be racist to have some quantifiable concerns that you may not deserve, but to which you are subjected to nonetheless.

I do hope you continue to write good software intended to help those who need it, and wish you all the best in your endeavors.

voyager529, thank you for your response. The short description here is our mistake, yes.
Unique features are described on the project page on our website. The most outstanding of them are automatic adaptive system maintenance that does not interfere with the user's work, intelligent management of process priorities, remote maintenance and monitoring of your PCs. We understand that the latter sounds suspicious, but all information is transmitted in encrypted form and no one has access to it, except for the program. Communication with the server does not imply access to your system, the only thing that can be done from the outside is to start system maintenance or monitor some indicators, and only from YOUR other computer.

Never fix anything that isn't broken. I need to know more about this Russian product before I consider using it. People would do well to read their product page: https://nickware.group/en-us/products/nweo/ There are some oddities like "Do not worry, all the data of your activity is analyzed on your device..."
I would like to know what changes this program does to my computer. I may not agree with some or all of them but I am not going to blindly use this program. Maybe a representative could explain more about the product here in GOTD comments.

With NickWare Essential O, devices are connected to your personal single network. One click allows you to start maintaining on all devices at once.
