Walter Snodgrass, the web version is more convenient. It is fast to convert PDF to flipbook for me. If you install, it is the desktop version. I like the online version most.

Following my earlier comment half an hour ago .. I realized how I hadn't got the Pro version as promised at all . In the topbar of the ui it said Free version . So I uninstalled Anyflip .. also removed all connected files .. Repeated the routine of installing todays Anyflip offering.. and guess what .. Got confroned with the Free version a 2nd time .. Time for a serious cup of coffee ..

And in the end of the day .. even after a strong coffee .. Having a paid license for the sister software, I just made a comparison to FlipBuilder Pro by testing it's most recent version 2.3.21 .. It has the exact same functionality as Anyflip as offered by GOTD .. (and a few features extra) .. Publishing a pdf in html5 though since recently only results in publications that represent as a mess under Chrome .. It is not compatible with the world's number one browser probably due to browser updates .. Pages show at randomly (e.g. frontcover in the back, backcover in the front) overlap or even remain empty .. Explorer in the meantime blocks the content at all .. as it restricts scripts and Active x .. Would you use considering using this software professionally .. Try to explain this to your clients that just paid your bill, how their promotion doesn't show at all or only fragmentary .. My advise to the developers .. stop confusing with numerous softwaretitles that do the exact same and finally start working on one release that really is bugfree and compatible with other offerings in the digital publishing market asap..

Elina, thanks, but no need to apologize. For me, this was a program I really wanted to try out....and for free. I spent over an hour trying to figure out how to activate, but no luck. So, I was just disappointed I could not use a program I really wanted a lot.

You have to pay to licence it for another year. If worthwhile and useful as it will be for me, taking advantage of their 80% discount on their Platinum level subscription, locking it in at about $59.00 per year is the wise thing to do. If no real use other than as a novelty for you, likely not worth it.

drvajra, Sorry I didn't get back to you earlier...I crashed out with a migraine. When you get the email with the key you'll find instructions on how to do it...which I have to admit makes a very nice change from some programs that leave you to try and figure it our yourself. Just follow those instructions...it worked perfectly for me!

Ari, We can't vote, but I hate them and groan whenever I come across anybody using one, particularly when it's being used as a product catalogue . I think they fall into the category of just because you can, doesn't mean you should.

Thanks! Thought it might be worth playing with but not under those circumstances. Apparently the product is primarily aimed at commercial users who want to put user manuals or something like that on-line for folks to access . . . at one time I was involved in creating such manuals (published then in dead-tree format) but I currently don't have any use for this.

mardel, yes, pro plan just allows to publish 5 book offline. But you can publish others online and add the password if you do not want others to read.
