Ant Download Manager (AntDM) is a tool that allows you to repeatedly increase the speed of file downloads due to multiple download streams, resume, schedule downloads, capture and download audio and video streams.

Automatically processes download errors, recovers from temporary network errors, reconnects in case of server response delays, has the ability to resume interrupted downloads due to loss of connection, network problems, computer shutdown, or unexpected power outages.
The standard GUI for softwares of this class makes AntDM friendly and easy to use. It has two screens – the first is more common for regular downloads and the second is using video preview for easy tracking of video downloads.
Has download queues, which allows you to accumulate download links at a convenient or scheduled time for the user.
Supports proxy-servers, HTTP and FTP file protocols and their protected versions of HTTPS and FTPS, as well as the main streaming protocols for audio and video content M3U8, MPEG-DASH, VIMEO-STREAM, firewalls, redirects, cookies, authorization, processing of audio and video content.

I forgot to add my compliments-how rude of me. Thanks to GAOTD Team, and ANT Team for this wonderful Giveaway. Works marvelously where other downloaders have failed-seems to integrate particularly well with Firefox and Chrome, and also Maxthon , if I remember correctly. If you are on the fence about getting it, don't be-great downloader-you will have no regrets. And thanks to whomever responded to my question earlier !!!!

I just tried that to find out.

It then referred me to their User Guide which gives 5 different work arounds for that, from the usual few clicks process.
I have not tried any.
Download it and try them.

Doug, I believe it will, but you will have to manually add it via two methods that it advises when the situation arises. It will give you instructions.

Been using this for a couple of years now. I can't fault it and upgraded to the lifetime license fairly quickly after finding just how good it was. Only fail, video wise has been Twitter, but there are lots of online downloaders for this. It will download a lot, that others will not, such as O.F videos etc. Recommended. Updated very regularly, so worth upgrading.

How much difficulty am I going to encounter if I install this, and I currently have Ant Download Manager Pro 2.9 from a previous giveaway install ? will I have to go thru a re-integration process, or will it remember all the presets and tick-boxes checked off or on ?? Thanks in advance for any response.

Michael Vanier, the software can be installed over all older versions. The old settings are saved.

I like Ant and have always considered buying the lifetime license since the program works well (only issue I have with it is if I don't shut it down via task manager after a while, it will eventually use 100% cpu usage. They gave me a solution to fix it but it just doesn't work for my browser/PC for some reason). The GOTD version works just as good, so whenever they offer it here I can just update my version. The only downside doing it that way is I lose my download list.

I have been using ANT Down Manager for several years and find it to be the best I have used. Early on, I saw a few grammatical errors in the menu selections and notified the developer. He asked if I would translate the incorrect English words and I was only too happy to assist. You can't go wrong with this app and you should get it while it is free to take it for a "test drive".

I've been using Ant for a couple of years now and I am fully satisfied with; I initially had the free version as offered here and was/am now very happy with the ease of detecting downloadable videos and formats.
Some sites may change their codes for folks who have programs like this one, but Ant frequently updates their software to adapt to changes on the net.
Easily incorporates itself into the browser and quickly detects downloadable videos, music, images, etc.

Excellent downloader. Been using it for years. Liked it so much that I purchased a lifetime license last year. This version offered by GAOTD is the latest version.

I've had Ant versions for quite a while now and it is the best general downloader I have used.
Get this while you can.
It just works so well and easily on many (not every) sites.

I use it a lot for just the music (I don't need the video) from a well known free videos site.
