Very strange. I installed with no issue. I had already installed the wallpapermaker from a previous GOTD and created a couple of wallpapers to test. When I try to launch the screensaver it loads a background process which is constantly using a bit over 9% of CPU but the UI does not launch. If I manually launch the editor it launches another background process. Here is where it really gets strange. If I launch the wallpapermaker it launched another screensaver process but the UI does not appear. The wallpaper software worked prior to the current install. At this point I can't get either UI to appear yet it launches another background process each using CPU cycles. Guess I'll have to uninstall both.

vasimo, OK so I'm a dummy.... I did NOT deactivate Avast which I guess blocked the install. Unfortunately, there seems to be a bigger issue. The install of the screensaver maker also affected the wallpaper maker. When I tried to uninstall both Avast gave me errors. I reinstalled the screensaver maker with Avast deactivated and it installed OK and the UI ran fine. I turned Avast back on and relaunched the screensaver maker and the UI would not appear yet the background task because active. It still launched the multiple background tasks as I clicked the icon. The problem with the wallpaper maker seems to have been created when I installed the screensaver maker. Since I lost the wallpaper maker and I can't turn off my anti-virus to run an application I cannot run either of these 2 programs. The uninstall also fires an Avast error.

vasimo, So I reinstalled and activated the software with no issue with Avast off. I then turned Avast back on and was able to launch the screensaver maker with no issue so I'm not sure why it gave me a problem on the prior test. I did R & D as well as developing proto type applications for many years and I LIKE THIS SOFTWARE. It is well thought out, well designed and works very well. Even though I don't really have a need for this software it's still nice to have available and I did take my normal wallpaper and added some animations and easily installed it as a windows screensaver.
Unfortunately, I uninstalled the wallpaper maker using Windows not my uninstaller so I can't recover it..

I enjoy using Animated Screensaver Maker to easily add some life and animation to photos. The one thing I would add to it is the ability to stretch or zoom the original image so that the finished product completely fills my monitor screen instead of having the black bars down the sides.

I'd love it if these things could output to a video file. Screen savers aren't really needed with modern monitors (at least that's what I hear)

Thank you. I love this program. Learning how to use it came easy for me. I just wish I didn't have trouble learning how the animation timings are supposed to work. Other than that this is cool.
