Appeared to install smoothly, but when I run it the splash screen shows for a few seconds, closes and nothing.... Appears I'm the only one that has had this issue (what am I doing wrong?)
Win 10 v1909 _ 2 year old Dell Inspiron Laptop..
Check Task Manager, no sign of it loaded.

I got a response directly from PCWinSoft to delete their 'Animated Banner Maker' folder under my 'Documents' folder and then run it again. It worked, though I know not why :)

PL, No it doesn't, and the learning curve for this product is very steep. Unsure what you're reviewing but it's not this product. Even Notepad has undocumented features, and pressing F5 does things most people didn't know.

Interesting software. Create a shape at position X, then move it to position Y at frame 30, and it'll create all the intermediate frames for that shape. Repeat for other components, so a banner on your website ("Sale! All items half price!" etc) could have smooth motion.
Works well in practice, but the UI has been designed by a programmer, and not a user. If you use the product, or give the product to a newbie, you'll know the issues - eg, the icon to set the frame count is the last icon in the list. It should pop up immediately when you start, or be more obvious where it is.
Removing frames is problematic and usually crashes the program. Save often.
Creating a test animation of 30 frames with a box moving down and an image increasing in size created a 3 MB GIF. That's just huuuuuuuuuuuuuuge. Works better with text and smaller objects.
Wish there were more tutorials and examples - the help file isn't that helpful.
Seems good software, but unfortunately, there are far better online banner makers that support more modern technology, eg, HTML5 - GIF is OK, but limited to a small pallete of colours (a frame can only have 256 colours, so smooth gradients are not possible).
