I attempted to register with all my e mail ids and while the e mail registration is accepted, no e mail has since been received for any of the requests. I do not have any version of your software since my computer is new and I have not used any version of your AmoyShare.

I wonder whether it is worth my time to have tried so many times and get the same response that my e mail is invalid and none of your recommendations work...FYI

Hi everyone,

You don't need to enter the activation code to activate your license, just log into your AnyVid account with your registered email and password.

1. Find the Login button in the menu in the upper right corner of AnyVid.

2. Enter your registered email and password, and then your Pro account will be activated instantly.

Ady, they said to restart the program which I did several times. Other people had problems if they already had an account from one of their other programs

THANKS for the responses to my emails. I see from the comments here that others are confused, as I was. It was NOT clear, to me anyway, that after the install, the GIVEAWAY license is active, but requires a LOGIN from the drop down. The Activation shown in the drop down is NOT for the giveaway version, but rather for the PRO upgrade. So ignore that and just do the login .... all works fine.

I installed, reg on website, ran app, logged in to account via app, as per instructions and put a video url into the slot,

After a while it started working, offered options for download resolution - and after a further delay it started to download the video, in what seems like real time, but so what - it works. I had no trouble playing the mp4 video after the download was complete. So it is a keeper for me. Thanks Amoyshare.

The software is still in trial mode despite logging in, no activation code from them via email either!
Sent email to the customer support yesterday and no response till now!

Peter,
there is no code for the registration - you just create an account and log into
the program with it.
This is clearly described in the readme file.

Helen , Yes, but as that didn't work, I hoped there would be some code. Anyway, they have replied now. You cannot use same email twice even for different giveaways of different softwares from the company. I will try a new email and hopefully it will be resolved.

For what it is, it does a reasonable job.

Buy when you compare it to the leader in this category, ANT Download manager, it is slower, less versatile, cheaper and from my experience of testing both, this supports less sites.

The $36 price is also rather misleading because this price buys you a 12 months plan only.

$45 is the price for a lifetime plan.

Did not receive any email with the registration code. Checked spam folder and made sure I did not erroneously erase the email. Went back and it had my email address. When I Clicked "Get it Free", it says an account with this email has been registered before. Please send email with registration code, or advise. THanks

Dave, you won't get one, that's not how it works.
Your reg your account on the web page, using an email address and create a password, that's it - it will tell you you have been successful immediately. Now open the app you installed prior, select option account and log in. You can now use the app for downloading vids, but it presents all the other apps they have as "Try now" They are not the anyvid app.

I already have a lifetime sub for 2 PC's with Internet Download Manager. Unless this gets video from sites IDM can't, I think I'll pass. As in grabbing HBO MAX Prime or Disney+. IDM can't do those either so there you go.

Brian, from what I can tell, you have to open the software, go to the Menu at the top right, choose Login and enter the email and password you registered with, that then signs you into the site. From there it works for downloads, but no expected privacy as with the paid version that actually sends you a key to activate and you can control when it calls home, which is every time to update with C+++, with something like ZoneAlarm.

4K Video Downloader is free and works very well. It regularly updates, works every time, is fast, allows playlist/ channel downloads upto 10 videos at a time. It nags a little bit, asks to buy pro version etc, but for general use at home with youtube videos, it is quite good.

bob, every time you log in through the Menu button at the top right, it automatically updates. Maybe someone else actually received a key for this giveaway version, but I did not and I tried twice after uninstalling with REVO. You log in with the created email and password each time you use this version, that also can easily keep a record of your downloads attached to your email account.

Neo, 4K VD/L downloads unreliable videos that sometimes are incomplete and will not load into DeVinci Resolve (plus other editors) for later editing..
