This program is just not worth the time & hassles, nothing that special, just too limited in features and options, Nothing special in the features, compared to similar programs like this.
Tested downloader for a few sites like Dailymotion, BET, even the youtube videos tested did not work, & would not even save, gave up after several tries. Very poorly designed program.
This Program really needs many improvements and enhancement options & features to make worthwhile.
So many better free downloaders with much better options.

After a brief test it seems to be a pretty nice downloader. I liked the ability to search for videos by title, the first search I tried worked fine when pessimistically I expected it to fail (for an Australian title).

One strange thing is that it installed version 7.0.0 and when I clicked on "Check for updates" it wanted to download the very same version again, looks like a bug there.

Checked to see if I had this - I do - but it's now unregistered and just a Trial. Not sure I like how expiring is handled

Downloaded, installed fine, setup.exe is for 64 bit, setup_x32.exe is for 32 bit, than went to www.amoyshare.com/promotion/anyvid/ to setup an account, just type any name + email + password. Open program locate "sign in" on top, enter email + pw to activate. Downloaded a couple of movies --purely for testing purposes :) -- some sites download faster some very slow, the quality was low, some movie sites only allow mp3 sound download, but not movies. Overall not a bad program, lots of alternatives out there, free or paid.

Never had to work so hard to get a giveaway to download and install. Keeps taking me to pages I do not want to see.

When I have previously installed AnyVid I have found it very temperamental, often refusing to open at all beyond the splash screen, and very slow when it does open. However, that is not why I am not installing today's giveaway - there are two other reasons for that.

Firstly, the instructions on the Amoyshare giveaway page are self-contradictory, see instructions below:

Instruction 1 says that if I have registered for AnyVid before, I only need to enter my e-mail address. The Notice says that if I have registered before, I can't have it this time round. When I follow instruction 1 I get the comment that an account with that e-email address already exists, and the process stops there. This lack of understanding by the company of what they are actually saying to (potential) customers is not helpful, in my opinion.

Secondly, the program is advertised as version 7.0.0, but when I extracted the setup files I found that the 64-bit version was exactly the same as one I got from another site a few months ago, which was version 6.3.1.

Because I haven't been able to register today's giveaway I am not going to install it to see if it is in fact version 7.0.0.

I used this and their other product which has the same functionality (Anymusic) from previous giveaways and on the whole it's pretty good.

It does support a decent enough range of sites but there are many that it does not.

Downloading can be quite slow at times and the conversion process can be tediously long for longer videos.

There is one issue though that is still present in this updated version and that when downloading some videos, although the process completes, upon playing back, the audio would disappear completely part way through the process, showing that there is an issue with the conversion process.

Having also used quite a lot of these kinds of software, the one that stands head and shoulders above the rest in Ant Download Manager and if you are paying for one then it's still the one yo go for.

There are of course a great deal of free offerings out there but only support a limited amount of sites.

After getting started again when it froze my system, I learned that BBC iPlayer isn't included in the 1000+ sites it claims to work with. So, for me it was about as much use as a chocolate teaspoon.

Installed and registered without any issues. The downloading of videos seems to be a hit and miss affair. I tried to download a random Youtube video, it wouldn't download. Restarted the program and tried the same video and it downloaded, but download was very slow, I have fast fiber internet and should have downloaded in seconds not in minutes. Not sure is download speeds are restricted because it's a give away or if this is normal for this software but based on my experience so far I wouldn't be inclined to buy this software, I'm sure there must be better options elsewhere.

I had no trouble installing and registering by following the instructions. But if I then installed the 7.0.0. supposed upgrade (It already said it was 7.0.0) I then lost where to find the program, it was nowhere to be seen and couldn't find by searching. I then re-installed the original 64 bit download and it all came back again, a icon on the Desktop and it was again in the program files, weird. Looked up and played Mustang Sally and I had many to choose from. It looks like a real keeper. I have the very latest WIN10

I cant even get the webpage to run to get the licence. I get 2 popup dialog boxes telling me the page has errors!

I downloaded Anyvid and went to the link provided

The link has faults. 2 x error messages: "ui.require error register login is undefined" there is no response when trying to submit valid data in registration form. Alternative offer / purchase link works however.

I tried Chrome, Firefox & Edge. All 3 return same errors. I cannot receive free 1 year licence.

I've registered , entered registration data, but still get 14 days trial, restarted the program, repeated the same procedure but still get 14 days trial, very disappointing, uninstalled.

When starting the program, if says that a new version 7.0.0 is available, but after installing, it keeps saying that the new version is available.
