Has anyone tried playing a 3D Blu-Ray disc with this? I have a 3D-capable monitor and could use this software (if it works!) Thanks for any answers!

I'm curious why my question was given a negative vote. I think it was a reasonable question.

Has anyone got it to play DVD's, says in description and on their web site it plays them but in reality it doesn't appear too

It doesn't work for me. I tried three different Blu-rays, and while it recognised the discs it crashed immediately I tried to play them.

Even though it says you can play DVD's, you can not play DVD's with this program. Looks like I will be uninstalling this one!

Does what it says, plays Blu-rays. Doesn't have many options and doesn't play DVD's. Didn't try to play a media file so can't comment on that. Didn't try to play a 4K as my computer is only a 2K display. While I can find no real problems with this program, I will be uninstalling and continuing to use the always free VLC to play my Blu-ray, DVD and media files. But thanks for the GOTD offer.

David C, you say "Does what it says" then say it "doesn't play DVD's" welll errr above it says:

"•Play DVD discs, DVD folders, DVD ISO files and IFO files from different places and countries without quality loss."

So if it does not play DVD discs with IFO files on em (DVD-Video or Video-DVD) it does not do what it says... and you didn't test ISO or media files so how can you assert it does what it says? Does some of what it says, maybe but certainly not all what it says!

--- This is a Decent, but mostly standard media player, with good potential, but most even Free Media players can do all of these functions and more.

**Would be much better media player, if can at least play Standard HD M3U/M3U8 playlist Video/Audio, with simple Crossfade, transitions, or visualization, or some basic Video/Audio, DJ, Karaoke effects, at least a few of these superhot video/audio features,

**Need more customization options, like Addtl Superhot video/audio Auto Enhancement Options could make avail even if by external video/audio Plugins, VST Effects etc)
Like auto Filter or remove hissing or feedback noises in video or audio or auto enhance video and audio playing.

Again, a decent program, but needs more unique features, like simple Crossfade, transitions, or visualization effects, or at least a few addtl basic custom addtl video/audio features.

Registration seemed to work fine in 64bit Windows 10. Tried opening several Blu-Ray discs from LG Blu-Ray drive and for each got 'File loading failed' error. If you try a second time, program window just goes away. Description says it also plays DVD discs - tried DVD disc and got 'Invalid Blu-Ray file' error. Seems to open and play media files only on my system. Uninstalling.

I tested it on a commercial Blu-ray disc, it works fine, (win-10 home) decent quality. If you go to their website and click on the free Blu-ray link, it says: " Free Bru-ray player for Windows to play Bru-ray movies" nice chinglish haha.

Harleycat ,
A dvd player will not play a Blu-Ray disk at all.
you need a blu-ray disk player in your computer for this program to work.
VLC Player does everything that I need so i uninstalled this in 5 minutes.

Has anyone already thought that at least one Blu-ray player must be present in your PC to be able to use the program?

Leona, erm only if you want to use the playback of Blu-ray content directly from a Blu-ray disc do you need a Blu-ray drive connected to your computer... the other media playback *should* work ok if it was programmed by competent developers!

well VLC can do more them this

Reply   |   Comment by gims  –  18 days ago  –  Did you find this comment useful? yes | no (+5)

Wrong! VLC can't play copy protected Blu Ray discs (and that's nearly all discs) natively. It requires a savvy user to add other apps to break that protection. This does everything right out of the box. No hassle involved.

gims, I'm having realy a VERY HARD TIME with VLC latelly with HEVC/h265 reproduction. It stalls and freezes. Been using Zoom Player with much better results.

Jim,
VLC plays protected Blu-Ray disks.
The words you used was copy-protected.
If you aren't trying to copy the disk then it will play them just like any other blu-ray player.

Firstly, what's the difference between the Free version of this program compared to the 'Upgraded' version?

Secondly, if it's purchased using the code provided today, does it grant you a 1 year or Lifetime license to use it (with free updates)?

JayUU, see http://7thshare.com/purchase/4k-blu-ray-player.html

With the discount code, you have to pay 14.50 USD plus VAT/Sales tax for a life time licence.

Thanks for that clarification as to the License - but you didn't answer my first question!

JayUU, Re "but you didn't answer my first question!"

Because I have no answer. I did not see a free version. I only saw a free trial. The trial will show a watermark and can be used for ten days. Of which only remain five today?
The registered version has no watermark and no time limitation.

Reply   |   Comment by onderzoeker  –  18 days ago  –  Did you find this comment useful? yes | no (+17)

onderzoeker, it says right there on top "The program is available for $45.00, but it will be free for our visitors
as a time-limited offer."...FREE!!!
