  1. you need to have a converter to make this program even remotely useful. while it does as it says, there are lots of freeware alternatives. this is user friendly but capable at doing its job and doing it fast. this is most likely intended for those who like getting things from places like you tube or surfthechannel.com and makind dvds out of the videos. its fast, effective, user friendly, but you need an afforementioned file converter to make the most out of this decent product. 9/10 for this one, thanks gotd.

  2. The program doesn’t need an additional converter - everything to go from a standard FLV to a final DVD is provided - including the burner software (or you can use your own). The program handles all necessary conversion from FLV -> MPG automatically.
