Total Movie Converter is a handy solution to convert video files. It supports many popular video formats, such as AVI, MPG, WMV, MPEG, VOB, IVF, DIVX, MPE, M1V, M2V, MPEG4, ASF, MOV, FLI, FLC. The batch conversion mode will save your time greately. Just select the files to be converted (just one click if you want all the files from the current folder to be converted) and leave the program do the job.

If you want to run Total Movie Converter within other programs, use the command line.

Total Movie Converter can also be integrated into the Windows popup menu. It means that you can click the file on your desktop and select "Convert to" option in the popup menu. Think - you do not have even to evoke the program to convert your video file!

The program was developed to be handy. It doesn't ask additional stupid questions. You just select the files with your favorite movies and click "Convert to" button. It's so simple that even a beginner will master it in no time.

The program does convert perfectly if all the codecs are installed. If not, it doesn't.

Tried a simply MOV -> MPG1 NTSC - worked ok for me. Program has a good UI, but seems far too sluggish for what should be such a lightweight frontend.

Unable to convert some MOV files to WMV/MPEG or any format listed. have to uninstall this.

This installed and activated ok.

Converted a few files - no problems - nice and easy. Recommend for simple converts etc.

Problem is when I exit out of the program the process keeps running in the background. If I run it again I get another entry in the task process list. Keep running and then exiting and I get a whole bunch of movieconverter processes listed.

Not sure what all those processes are doing but at the very least they are wasting memory.

I bought CARS for my son last week so we can watch at Moms house for Thanksgiving. Made a full backup to hard drive, then (just for kicks) converted the video to fit on my smartphone (Audiovox SMT5600 which has a 220x176 screen) as an AVI.
Which it is a little pixelated.
It took about 2 hours to convert. Excellent app. Highly recommended.

Installation and activation were both successful, but while the software can supposedly read all the above formats it can only export to AVI, MPEG and WMV. I attempted to convert some MOV files to WMV, and was unsuccessful. As such, I can't recommend this program. Uninstallation pending.

This is a hoax, doesnt do as said, besides these 3 formats, doesnt do anything AVI, MPG, WMV. I doesnt even support Divx. Please make the description clear.

If you experienced problems activating the software, please download the software package again and reapply the activation program from this package. The software should be activated and registered once the activation is complete.

Will not activate! Still shows "unregistered" in Help/About after running Activate.exe.
