StarBurn is a powerful tool for grabbing, burning and mastering CD, DVD, Blu-Ray and HD-DVD media. StarBurn supports all types of optical storage media (including CD-R/RW, DVD-R/RW, DVD+R/RW, Dual layer DVD-R & DVD+R, BD-R/RE, HD-DVD-R/RW and DVD-RAM) as well as a wide variety of burning hardware.StarBurn is easy to learn and to use. In addition to advanced DVD authoring and mastering features StarBurn offers a number of step-by-step wizards for novice users.
New features of StarBurn v.10
- Fully skin-able and theme-able wizards (not only main form as it was in V9);
- Vista-signed executables (StarBurn is “blessed” for Vista/Longhorn now);
- Blu-Ray decrypter wizard (V9 had only DVD decrypter);
- UDF 2.0 / Unicode image mastering wizard (V9 had only ISO9660/Joliet).
Main differences between GAOTD version and freeware version of Starburn:
- Network burning unlocked (RDS standard version has network burning expiring after 30 days of the evaluation). Now Mac Aero network burning functionality is available to the PC/Windows user as well;
- DVD decrypter (missing from RDS standard builds);
- Blu-Ray decrypter (missing from RDS standard builds).

At last a good burning tool other than Roxio that *works* for Windows VISTA. Thanks, GAOTD! StarBurn seems to be what it says; a powerful tool for grabbing, burning and mastering CD, DVD, Blu-Ray and HD-DVD media. So, I’m testing it right now. If any problems occur, I will let everyone know. Thanks again.

p.s. We use CD’s/DVD’s like they’re candy around here. Hope it helps you, too. (Great for recurring back-ups and for easy, administrative toolkits to burn and carry with minimum hassles). Just a thought….
Cool. I had this last time and lost it when i had to reformat. It is a great program. I have been using the free version since and have been waiting for this to be offered again

I’m beginning to think the GOTD aquisitions team has gone AWOL. It was only 10 weeks since we had starburn 9.5. Dudes, put some effort into finding some new vendors and different types of software. There’s a limit to the number of burners/format converters/backup/recovery tools and screensavers you can put on one machine.
So what’s so much better about this release that it was worth running it again so soon?
