Window Resizer is a utility software that allows you to resize any window to an exact, predefined size. This is extremely useful when designing web pages, as it allows you to see how the page will look when viewed at a smaller size. The utility is also handy when compiling screenshots for documentation. Using Window Resizer allows you to easily maintain the same window size across screen grabs. Additionally, it works well with multi-monitor setups, allowing you to open different applications in specific positions on each monitor at Windows startup.
If you are looking for a program resizer software, this utility is able to resize programs by identifying the window title of any currently running application. This software is not limited to just resizing browsers, unlike browser extensions. It has the capability to resize all programs, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and browsers such as Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer, Edge.
Moreover, if you come across an application that doesn't permit resizing or imposes restrictions on resizing, Window Resizer can effectively modify the dimensions of such applications. You can resize the main (owner) window of any program, as well as child windows and invisible windows. The program even allows you to lock dimensions and positions of any window, ensuring they remain fixed.
This program can get and set exact window size values by taking non-client areas into account. It can utilize Desktop Window Manager (DWM).
When you open the program, it shows the list of all apps running on your Windows PC. You can select any app and specify the size at the bottom section and click on the "Apply" button.

It will not run on any 32bit edition of windows vista to 10.
From the products home page and my own personal experience agrees:

If you go to Vovsoft's homepage linked in the GOTD info box and scroll down you will see an option to download the portable version. You will still have to download the GOTD one as the licence key is in the Readme.txt.
You don't have to install the GOTD version, I did as I only checked to see if there was a portable version after I'd installed it. I still downloaded the portable, extracted it to it's named folder and ran it - the registration key file was automatically created and matched the GOTD's Readme.txt.
If you only want it portable just enter the registration key from the GOTD's Readme.txt - on the program's toolbar click on 'Help' and click on 'Edit License' from the dropdown menu then copy/paste the registration key.
Thank to Vovsoft for the giveaway and easy install - always nice to see developers allowing lifetime licences which used to be the norm.
As to the program, it's intuitive to use - I love that you can click & drag the window to change size, as mercifully for these old eyes the font can be increased repeatedly. I wish all developers would do the same, where possible. The program opens with a list of your running programs, there is an option under 'Settings' to 'List Invisible Windows', but for most people that's unnecessary.
To change a program's size simply click on the desired program in the list, the height and width, as well as the windows position coordinates are shown and at the bottom and can be altered using predefined choices, or you can try custom ones and alter to suit.
I would have liked the ability to change the colour scheme to dark, as I personally find that easier, but the minimal scheme is so much better than programs where the colours clash or are over-busy making the program confusing and difficult to use.
I also screencapped the instructions, which is on the same page as the portable / install versions, this I'll pop into the appropriate folder for if I need it later.

Cassie, Regarding the portable version... The licensing is NOT portable but needs to be activated on each machine the portable distribution is used on as it is entirely stored in the systems registry... and the giveaway license code will only be activatable for a very short time, possibly only the giveaway 24hours! Vovsoft have stopped offering the portable download on their giveaways, not because the license key won't work with the portable version, it will, because the key does not remain activatable for new activations after the given giveaway duration to avoid user confusion and disappointment when the "portable software" reports the license is not supporting new activations and reverts to non-activated nagware.
