I looked over your list of updates since the last time this was offered (v10.0 this past February):

Would any of those updates fix the issues I experienced with setting and clearing choices, or altering/editing the results in the auto-selection list prior to execution?

Some are not problem.
And now you can check duplicates by multiple ways (6 ways), please see the Usage on its homepage.

Installation shows a product key BUT the program is NOWHERE on my PC.
AVG did NOT report having detected malware. I am NOT impressed.

Many of these utilitarian programs have better and free programs. And it is easy to find them with little effort. For exemple Auslogics Duplicate File Finder is very good and free forever...there are others too.

I tried it out on a folder of pics. It displayed the duplicates side by side - which I could enlarge easily. Is there a way to rename the kept picture at the same time? (I tried using the "Info" - but that didn't seem to work.)

Take note: you DO have to temporarily disable your virus program in order to install this properly. Once that's done, it installs in just seconds. I don't have time to use it right now, but it looks to be a keeper. Thank you!
