OOOOHHHH! It’s Icare Data Recovery!
I remember installing that before, it’s not bad… really. It’s an all in one search-and-find tool that can recover most things you accidentally deleted onto your hard drive. It has a nice GUI, and it’s a trustworthy program. I don’t exactly remember what the drawback were, but why not take it a spin?
It’s like Recuva, but even with more features… and it organizes its searches in categories such as .exe, .doc, .pdf… something like that. That’s why I like Icare Data Recovery, it organizes things for you! Unlike Recuva, they don’t organize the search results itself and it’s really hard to find the things you accidentally deleted.
Hope that helps. :)

Decent software , but doesn’t $69.95 seem a little optimistic
for software that has so many free alternatives out there?
Thankfully it’s free here today ;-)
thanks for the utility software.
Most often, most of what gets deleted and needs to be recovered can’t be==even when its a file that “just got deleted” and then recovery is immediately attempted. Why is that? After using 5-6 recovery programs, my experience is they all work about the same.
So–does this program recover files just deleted? It would really be nice if a program could recover a file that gets deleted without going to the trashcan first==like large files which are common now when working with recorded tv.
Recuva is about the same as all the others. Is this program any different?
