    I really need a program that will help me find out which drivers need updating and then help me to get them. I looked at a bunch of programs and don't know what is best or what works and can't really afford to buy something that doesn't do what it says it does. Please help this non-geek who is trying hard to become one. Thank you!

    This site offers games and one non game title. Most of the games are simple, small games but the one I love is Big Jig and Big Mosaic. Big Jig is a jigsaw puzzle program and I became addicted to it almost 7 years ago. It has pockets to sort your pieces in and is also very customizable as to the shapes and sizes of the pieces. You can do a 100 pieces jigsaw puzzle or you can do a 1000 piece puzzle from the same picture. Looking at the website, it also says it's Vista compatible. I haven't tried the solitaire game on her site but it will probably be just as well done as the jigsaw puzzle game. I was not a big jigsaw puzzle player before I downloaded this game. But now I enjoy this game on the computer. I have yet to find one that is better designed, though I'm sure my searches weren't completely inclusive. It is free to download but purchasers get extra features including a whole set of jigsaw puzzles. Big Mosaic is also somewhat like a jigsaw puzzle but uses tiles instead. There is also has a personal information manager but I have not tried it.

    Thank you very much but I only read English and often don't understand it. These are paid programs anyway and not quite what I need.

    no, it is wrong! both are for free! you only have to write your mailadress to get the key. nothing more!

    i'm german, that is why my english is so bad.

    But for the software, you do not need good knowledge of the language, because the are only some buttons. List/find driver - backup-driver - save driver - update driver - END

    Yesterday's Flashspring pro 2.2 looked great, but I couldnt use it due to lack of support for MS Office 2007. A beta version of FS 3.0 is available but has the demo limitations on it. I would be very grateful if you could run it as the GAOTD sometime soon.

    @akwiiguy

    It was a giveaway on 2007-01-14 and I think, it was not good enough to get a second show. There are many freewaretools like this in the web.

    one example: http://www.launchy.net/

    @ vitalstatistix

    Look at the registry for this key and try to change, maybe it will work:
    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\11.0\PowerPoint\Addins\Flash Spring Pro 2]

    I know it is improbable that they will agree, but can you see if Sibelius wants to give away just one of its basic programs? Sibelius is an excellent music notation program.
