Giveaway of the Day Forums » Good software we need to know about

  1. There you go, a thread dedicated to Giveaway suggestions.

I don't think suggestions for the main players is worth wasting your fingers on typing, thats Adobe, M$, Symantec, TNS etc.

Please don't create a separate thread or topic for each suggestion - add them to the end of this thread.

I would love to see Alibre design professional on here. It is a very good 3d parametric modeler. This Company already has a free (lightly) limited version called Alibre Express. It is a very competitive product going up against the "big guys" like solid works and inventor. Hope this is useful!

  22. I would really like to see some new arkanoid games and more like Treasures of Persia. I've beaten most of the games we downloaded and am ready for new challenges. Perhaps you could bring back Alawar, Alive, Realore, Urse, and 300 A.D. I really enjoyed their quality products. Since I am on dial-up, I haven't been able to get the good Merscom games and despise all the doublegames/freegames4rest/freegamesarea "games". I am not ungrateful for the hours of enjoyment I have had so far, but would like to see some of these good developers return. Thanks.

I would like to thank the GAOTD team, as well as the vendors, who provide us with these free programs. Having said that, I would very much like to see a program which would help the user to track and update the drivers for the hardware on their computer. If it would also help to keep up with the latest codecs and other necessary files, then so much the better.
Another type of program I would like to see is a Personal Information Manager, which could keep track of one's calendar, to-do list, notes, etc. Two old style PIMs which I particularly likes were PackRat and EccoPro.

    Thanks, Rich
