  1. This is useful if your a software designer or the likes such as someone who’s regularly burning CD’s. Free, what more could you want :D

  2. It will be fun creating custom covers for my burned CDs. Could certainly make cheap but still nice stocking stuffers.

I probably wouldn’t spend $38 on this unless I using it for some kind of commercial use but as it’s free today, thanks GOTD! Always appreciate your hard work in finding us useful and sometimes not so useful software =D

  3. It installs, runs and registers fine on Home Premium 32-bit.

    Maybe someone can enlighten me:
What exactly is the point of this software? So you can create ‘covers’ for multiple different things like CD cases, books, etc. That is great – but what do you do after that? I assume they either want you to send your template to other people (who must have the same program to view it) or take save images of your template and send the images to other people. So after you either send the template or image to someone, you can the cover you designed actually put on a case/book? Why is this the same thing not possible by just using an image editing program?

I am totally lost as to the purpose of this software – maybe an engineer or artist who designs covers for CD cases, books, etc. can understand this program better then me.

As a side note: this program eats up computer resources like a ****. RAM usage is not bad, around ~50 MB. But CPU usage? Holy crap. At one time, when I had one of their 2 book templates running, Windows Task Manager was showing this program is using 50% of my CPU =O That is an extreme though – on average the cpu usage stays in between 20-30%
