Seems to be to be an atypical giveaway. Not unappreciated, but atypical. As a regular MS Office user, my work does not require any of the types of mathematical work this program provides and so pie charts and bar charts of the MS PowerPoint type fit my needs just fine.
I looked at the website´s screenshots and could not imagine anyone using this for personal use. So I went to MATLAB´s website and noticed that they not only commercial, academic, and student licensing for their product, which today´s giveaway suggests it is similar to.
My point? I would vote thumbs down due to having no need for this probably quite complex bit of software, and not being able to imagine such a need, but voting is supposed to be based on if you think this is useful software or not.
I suppose my advice to the developer is to ask GAOTD how many downloads you get compared to a “typical” day and to use that to gauge your potential market on that rather than voting. My guess is that you have a great bit of niche software.
The software offered on the developer’s website is 4.8MB while the one here is 11 MB.
Moreover, it’s no match for MATLAB. A free alternative to MATLAB, which is a lot better than GAOTD today is SciLab. This can be downloaded from http://www.scilab.org/.
My #1 problem is when I hit F1 I’m launching a browser at the web.
So I guess as long as you have a web connection …
Made me so mad, I made my own compiled .chm You can head to sourceforge and get chmProcessor and then save the documentation.html and compile it yourself or… Save the work and download mine

If I had one request, would be to hack the resources, so F1 goes to local CHM not online.
