In regards to nr 158.. Just download the program from the website and if you were smart enough to save the reg info (which I posted for someone but now it's gone.. oops.. didn't think it was problem) then click on register, put in giveawayoftheday as the user name and the reg number (I'm sure if I posted it again, it would get removed again) it will work. However, Here's my quick review once I did get it going before it went bye bye. Copies suck. Too much halo affect so the compression doesn't work too well in maintaining the quality of the picture. It took as long as 1clickcopydvd to copy a disk and the quality was less then par. Good luck.

Regards,
Agogo software company
Ha ha, Like I need the problem. Funny guys they are. Anything to get me to buy the product.
I think GOTD need to fix this problem and reinstall it for another day.

Well, it's free. And to the posts who talk about no one is saying ANYTHING about the program itself. Here's a news flash. If you can't get it to run, no one is going to say how crappy it is. I agree, it was RUSHED out and in the software world, word of mouth, this company is a sinking ship. I'll stick to dvd43 and 1clickcopydvd. It might cost but it has yet to fail to copy ANY dvd I've backed up. AGOGO is going A-BYE-BYE. My short review? POSS.

Program actually works well after going and getting the needed dll file
not sure how long it will work with no updates though as protections keep improving

If you are missing a file try going to google and do a search for it. Even better keep your windows up to date not just the important updates look at the other updates. I don't have any problems like this because I keep windows up to date.

By the time I got the missing dll file (which I found on the forum) the giveway was finished and I can no longer get the registration details. Would you kindly send them so I can use the program?

I downloaded and installed the program. After activation the file MSVCRTD.dll was missing. I downloaded and installed it in Windows directory. After reinstalling the program it was OK but I could not activate it so it remained as trial version.
I think that more people had similar problem and it would be nice to enable free downloading of AgogoDVDCopy once again.

I ran into the same problem I am glad to see that it wasnt just me. Maybe if the registry problems were fixed this would be an awesome download. Thanks anyway

Dowload the Trial version, use your key to activate it.
Nice Program.
Thanx GAOTD.

I presume you will provide a new download for the Agogo DVD Ripper. I, too, found that the MSVCRTD.dll was missing and I re-installed it with no luck. I finally erased it from my drive.

I AM OBVIOUSLY NOT THE ONLY ONE TO HAVE HAD TROUBLE WITH THIS PROG., WHERE IS THE DLL??

seemed good application but failed to start due to missing dll, tried 3 times to load but no go

After 2 unsuccessful installations I was able to install from the publisher's site. I used the GOTD code provided and everything was fine EXCEPT, the program could not locate my DVD burner. Worth a try but a big waste of time.

I copied both .dll files to both location system and system32 folder, still it didn't work. OS is Vista Ultimate.

Hi I to downloaded the .dll that was missing from sites given by others. But with al that I can't get it to install on my Vista laptop
but its working well with XP..Thanks for the free pgms

The msvcrtd.dll is not redistributable. So if you download that file from dll-download or from anywhere else that would be a violation of copyright.
@Agogo: Compile a release version of your project when you deploy an application. Including the missing msvcrtd.dll is not an acceptable solution as it is against copyright laws.

Fankly speaking I cannot understand why there is such a fuss amout amissing file by the name of "msvcrtd.dll." You can find a copy of this very file if you have QR Photo DVD Slide Show in the Program Files folder of your C Drive. As someone else indicated earlier, this program was another freebie given away by GAOTD in the past. Copy the file from that folder to the program folder of Agogo DVD Copy and everything will be a-okay. I did this and registered the software using the code provided in the pop-up window after installing the software, and nothing could be more simple than that. Thanks GAOTD for another useful software. I wish there are more web sites like yours on the Internet.

I downloaded it using Vista But it kept telling me that there was a problem with the program so I downloaded it again but from the owners page and registered it using the giveaway registration info and now it works fine hooray.

The missing DLL (msvcrtd.ll) is the debug version of msvcrt.dll. This means that the program has been compiled for debug rather than proper release. Even if you get it working by downloading the correct dll, can you be sure the debug version will not screw up your computer?
I'm uninstalling it.

I read a few of the comments before I decided to try the software. I followed the advice of #'s 18 & 34 and had no problem. The program works fine.

Loaded fine. erased due to shoddy burning. Anyone know about gamegiveaway?isit coming back? Any other freeware out there to do this?

Loaded fine. Erased because it was slow, and very shoddy to burn.
Anyone know what the deal with GameGiveAway is?? The main reason I come here. Is it coming back?

Download does NOT work! DLL MSCVRTD.dll was missing from installation. Uninstalled and reinstalled 2X . No Goooooooooooooooo!

#110 (Suzanne), I just went and looked; didn't see anything there to explain no games. What did you find out and where did you find it?
Save | Cancel
I wouldn't go near this with someone else's hard drive. Too many reported problems. Yikes... Thanks for the warning everyone.
Save | Cancel
Well I did what everybody said to do. It loaded A-Okay. I got to copy a DVD and then went to burn it. It wouldnt recognise my DVD Burner. There is no where where its says the name of your burner. Even DVDShrink would not recognise the folder I copied too.
Another stuff up from GOTD peoples. I prefer RipIt4Me and you CAN still get a copy, if you look.

A waste of my time; never could get the program to execute after downloading the requested dll. That's another hour of my life I won't get back.

NOTE: System compatibilties do not list VISTA!
Obvious that it may not work on all versions of Vista ;-)
"98/ME/NT/2000/XP/2003" compatible as stated with offer.

Note to all: if you have to download a dll to make a program work, put it in the same directory as the program first. Don't put it into the WINDOWS system32 or those other directories unless you can't find a different place to put it.
If the DLL needs to be registered, that will become obvious. But most programs can find DLLs if they are in the same directory they are in. By not putting it into the WINDOWS directory tree, you keep that area at least a bit cleaner of miscellaneous files, and make the DLL easier to uninstall.

I had the same problem as all others. Went to Agog site (dvdmp4) and downloaded the program from there. Used the GOTD register info. Up and running OK

I downloaded the app from the homepage listed above and registered with the info from the GOTD download. Program now registered and running.

I installed this program, and it did not work. I continually receive a message, when I try to access it, stating a *.dll file is mising. It says re-installing the program may fix it, but it does not. If this problem could be fixed, I'd love to get this program.

I didn't install right from here I had to go to their website and download it.

Thanks for the offer, after seeing the comments I have decided not to install this. The comments (as always) just as important as the offer itself. Perhaps this offer can be on GAOTD again after these issues are ironed out. I really appreciate everyones comments...both good and bad.

Thank you GAOTD for all the freebies I've downloaded so far. This is the first time I've ever had a problem with a program from here. And I don't think anybody should install a program that will give them dll error messages, EVEN if it's free. More importantly why would the developers even offer this, or charge their customers $39.98, when it's only a "rough copy"....GAOTD , I'm waiting for a re-offering of Advanced Windows Care Professional. Now THAT'S a kick ass Give Away !! Thanks again.

You're better off installing the dll for this from Microsoft's website - search for "Microsoft Visual C Runtime" and make sure you get the right one for your version of Windows.

@99 GAOTD doesn't need to re-offer the program. Simply save the GAOTD reg info and download and install from the manufacturer home page. After entering the GAOTD reg into Agogo DVD Copy you'll have the full version.

@96 The reg info is listed on a popunder after you run thesetup file. When install is complete close the installer and you will see another window with the reg name and code.

It may be a good piece of software but it does not work
I see that i can download a DLL file but I would prefer that giveaway re introduce the program with all components as soon as possible

Running Windows 2000. Installed the dll, jumped through all the hoops. Program generates errors, and is shut down by Windows.

I just looked in the blogs and now I know why there are no games, I am glad I did that so I will still be looking for them when they come back!
Thanks GAOTD AND GGAOTD!
