On behalf of BinaryMark I want to thank all those who tried the product. By all means biorhythm software is not a mass product, hence only few found it useful.

I do want to emphasize one thing however, while we certainly understand your disappointment with the lack of certain features in Standard Edition, for financial reasons we could not have offered Premium Edition here. However, as users of Standard Edition, you can certainly upgrade to Premium Edition for half the [price, that is $24.99, and not $50, as was mentioned by somebody. While this is not $5, that some desired, it is substantially less than $50. We just wanted to make sure this is clear to the users.

Once again, thank you for taking time to review this product!

Thank you for this one.... No it will not tell you your future. Biorhymms give you a guide to how you are emotionally, physically and intellectually on a daily basis.

I had a Biorythmm watch in the 80's and found it very accurate.

Thanks for this one, I for one will find it useful.
Thank You GOTD team.

Dear Moron Gallery
This kind of stuff is a stoopid idea to start with, but that's beside the point. Somebody worked hard to produce it, so they must have had the flame of desire to write some software, and I can appreciate that. To each their own... this must have been someone's life mission at one point in time ( a hokey BioRhythm calculator with an Office 07 interface) and God bless 'em. It takes all kinds to spin the world.

I downloaded/installed it... and it is what it is... But my beef is that WAY too many features are disabled in the 'standard' version.

Since there's no upgrade path on the GiveAway, if you want the 'pro', you pay full boat... (like $50 +/-... I went to to the 'buy now' link out of curiousity).

Since these are novelty programs, designed for fun and not much else (unless you're in this biz... a psychic quack living in Sedona or whatever)... here's what would be a good deal:

Freebie on 'Standard' - and upgrade to 'pro' for 5 bucks, payable via a PayPal donation. I'd blow five bucks to play around with all the features. $50... absolutely, positively no way. Not saying it ain't worth it to the psychic dude from Sedona previously referenced... but it sure as hell ain't worth it to THIS desert cowboy.

I almost downloaded this and thought what are the PREMIUM features? So what am I NOT getting with this download?

Only Primary & Secondary rhythms are supported
I-Ching, Intuitive Patterns, and Average rhythms are not supported
Only Graph, Chart, Table, and Text views are available
All navigation controls are supported (start date, time interval, duration, etc.)
No support for activities
No custom rhythms (cycles with custom period cannot be defined)
No Journal that lets you record your actual biorhythm state
Fewer image sets (visualizations)
No numerology support
You can create only very limited reports
No Timeline & Calendar views
No Threats & Opportunities view

Big advertisement for their premium edition, which is shown on the screen shot. But for $49.99 you can get "much, much more!"

Not only is this all hocus pocus, you can't do anything with it. It's extremely crippled and has shotty coding (try maximizing the welcome screen, the background repeats!)

if you are into this kind of thing, it is worth the download.

there's more here (more sophistication) than in 'advanced biorhythms 2006' that was offered here awhile back.

at first it was a little klutzy, i had to enter my data several times, and it still would come up wrong. once i edited it correctly, one more time, it finally worked. it doesn't seem to be real intuitive a program. but there is potential here.

so, my point again, is, if you're into this kind of thing, it is definitely worth the download.

You know, I love GAOTD, but today I think I'm just going to pass. I'm not a big fan of things telling me that my life sucks or it is great. I already know which! And considering all the comments about the premium version, why not just give away the Premium instead of having to listen to all that stupid "[name] is not available in Standard Edition!" crap?

Cool app, though it's freaking annoying with all the popups telling of all the nice features you can get if you buy the Premium edition.

The thing is that if I've bought this program as a standard version and got all those popups telling me to upgrade I would feel really cheated.

I don't see the point of downloading nagware.

I don't really understand what is happening here. This is a place where we are supposed to assess the quality of the software, in this case, how good it is on displaying biorhythm data.

I don't see the point of posting people's perception on biorhythm's value, preciseness, usefulness, etc (like the "proud" christian that cannot diferentiate biorithm from fortune telling).

hi there everyone
explorator here

Great! i will definitely give this one a try. This was offered last year as "advanced biorhythm 2006, v.2" and it was amazing! everyone at home tried it, we all wanted to see what the future holds for us. I tell you it's strange the accuracy of these divination products because they do forecast things of your mood cycle and life and fate i should say.

if you don't have one, download and install it. i recommend it. it's fun also. but pretty much it will help you think about what stages of your life you may be going through and this might make you conscious of the things you need to do to overcome obstacles in order to achieve your goals.

it is like having your own personal weather forecast at home! hahahaha

you can even compare your personality with that of others.

until then explorator saying goodbye from planet Explorix

There are web sites available that do this for free. I don't see a reason to install the software, when its something that you may use once or twice, if ever.

Oh God forbid! Yikes :o*

I DONT BELIEVE IN FORTUNE TELLING! THIS STUFF IS BS! IM A CHRISTIAN AND NEVER IN A MILLION YEARS WOULD I TRUST A MAN MADE DEVICE (MY COMPUTER) TO TELL ME WHAT LIES IN MY FUTURE! ONLY GOD KNOWS WHAT THE FUTURE HOLDS IN STORE FOR ME… THANKS BUT NO THANKS GAOTD

Way to go Fanboy!

I am sure GOAD was just trying to come up with something different but this should be considered in a game catagory and not at all useful to those of us who want tech goodies. But thanks for trying anyway. Some may have fun with it.

To #10: I think it is something very wrong with you. You don't have any idea what you are talking about. And you also missed the point - here we are talking about the software given away, not about the underlying processes. As for the biorythm mechanism, you should let others smarter than you comment on that. But I guess you are so naive that you think you can grasp the whole knowledge of humanity through computer science methods - you are doing a big mistake my friend.

This is a nice little program for what it is, but way too many limitations. It was a fun thought and it is a fairly well done program, but frustration level sets in quick when every other option is greyed out + a pop up. Thanks GOTD for continuing to try. I'd give this one a thumbs up for GOTD effort but thumbs down for software company motivations.

I am only 7 day old in this community and appreciate the excitement about every giveaway from GOTD (apparent from comments...disappointment from existing members only goes to show that they have seen better days and continue to be patient for a better giveaway each time). I really got excited by the comments from various pros and amateurs posted. I believe there have been useful giveaways in the past. Is it a big deal to keep these give always in a gallery for new users to download (along with the user comments of course). In fact my decision to download or not is driven by these comments and frankly i have only downloaded PD particles software based on user comments in past 1 week. Since we are catering to profiles that are very different, may be u can look at 2/3 or multiple giveaways. If U check the site daily and dont download i is a bit disappointing.

I thought it would be loads of fun to play around with... but if it has all the limitations in it that the website lists as available with the "premium" version only, what's the point?

Thanks for the effort GOTD, but I unfortunately this version is WAY too limited.

Please find a better version of this type of software in the future!

You know, I think biorhythms are actually interesting...but - surprise! - I'm a biologist. So "numerology support" and "astrology support"? No, thanks. Plus, like #10, I have to wonder how anything the program tells you could possibly be accurate without an EKG or periodic blood tests. If you're into fortune-telling, I say go to a fortune teller, not some silly program masquerading as science.

Neo said it best. He doesn't believe in fate. I don't like the idea that I'm not in control of my own life. And that's what this program basically tells me. I'm not in control of my own fate. That there is some external power influencing my destiny. Wrong. Thanks GAOTD team, see ya tomorrow.

Thanks for today's Giveaway! Y'know, I've been having trouble finding disk space for all the great products GAOTD has made available over the past several months, but I won't have to find a single free byte of space for this one. While it is tempting to reminisce about the 70's, I am far too busy with more important studies such as phrenology. (If you guys happen to come across a good phrenology program, I'll buy a new computer for it!) For now, I'm off to pour myself a nice tall glass of Kool-Aid with a generous helping of the industrial solvent dihydrogen monoxide. See y'all tomorrow!

CAN'T BELIEVE MY EYES...LOL!!

Frankly speaking, who can be interested in this SW?

Maybe a medium or an astrologer...LOL!!

So once again another useless SW for the MASS exactly as the yesterday's offer useful just for SW developers !!

As matters stand I was wondering why not offer, at least once, something more useful for the mass of the PC users, who visit this site almost daily, whose alternatives cannot be found on the web for FREE such as for instance software for eCommerce, editors to write and publish professional eBooks on the web or even better professional programs to translate the webpages of a website in different languages?

If I'm not mistaken GAOTD has never offered such kind of programs, hasn't it??

Cheers

FWIW the developers, BinaryMark, leave no doubt what the std version of their Biorhythm Calculator does & doesn't do - following the link at the top of this page, BioMark's excellent product description includes prominent links to comparisons of this giveaway vs the premium edition & the competition. Surprisingly they don't tell you what Biorhythms are, or more importantly, why you should care enough to spend your hard-earned cash on Biorhythm software. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Biorhythm gives a quick summary.

In today's comments, Biorhythms have been compared to a Magic 8 Ball - well those are still sold, and bought as toys, so some folks will undoubtedly find this GOTD worth the time to download & install. Others who find the concept interesting, have a painless way to check it out -- personally I trust GOTD software FAR more than most of the stuff I come across Googling. And finally, if you're into Biorhythms, and are interested in BioMark's software, this is as close to a trial as you'll get.

Or... just delight in the fact it doesn't have anything to do with video, as some have mentioned. ;?P

I enjoy having something different offered. Installed with no problem on Vista Home Premium. I have only played with it a little while, but it was easy to figure out. I do not plan on upgrading, but will be playing with this for awhile just out of curiosity's sake to see how closely it coincides with my daily life. Thanks GOTD for something different.

Hey, it's cheaper than a quarter.

When I has in high school, my friends and I came across a coin operated biorhythm machine. We all but in our quarters. We all agreed that Paul Meehl was right about P T Barnum and enjoyed the novelty. Eerily, the one friend among us who had almost no personality flatlined at the bottom of the chart

Looking at the weeks software, I'd say someone is thinking "Give them rubbish and they'll come to give thumbs up when a Screensave or converter appears"

As most have already said, This program is less that useless without actually upgrading.
Reports also on Spyware from some has put me off installing.

For all the uninformed doubters out there: I was introduced to biorhythms 30 years ago and questioned the theory until I was proven wrong. Whenever I feel really down or find it hard to get out of bed I check, and if my physical cycle is all the way down I know I am not getting sick. Looking at important dates in the near future, when the main cycles (physical, emotional and intellectual) are down you want to be extra careful driving, making decisions, etc. If you prefer to not look ahead, when something happens look back and use the calculator to better understand why it happened. After a couple of car accidents I checked and confirmed that I should have let someone else drive... All you need is the common sense to use the information about you, a loved one or your boss, assuming you know the birth dates. Pseudo science or not, IT WORKS under normal circumstances (no drugs, alcohol, etc). As for Biorhythm Calculator 2009, I must admit that it is well done, except for the "premium" limitations. What kind of GIVEAWAY does this make?
