Arxon challenges you to match colored scarab beetles on a grid to save an ancient land from destruction. Creating combos generates powerups that help you win. Features simple controls, three challenging game modes and gorgeous Egyptian artwork!

Arxon features three entertaining game modes. In Adventure Mode, you must create matches of three or more scarabs of the same color before the timer runs out. The gameplay is the same in Endless Mode except there's no time limit. In Logic Mode, you must match the colored beetles to a pattern on the game board. Creating combos generates powerups, such as the Destroyer Bug, which wipes out all of the scarabs on the grid with the same color as the one you hit.

Steeped in challenge and rich with Egyptian ambiance, Arxon is the perfect diversion for casual gamers!

Okay I must admit. I wanted to try it before I said anything. Aand boy did I try it. I'm still trying it, every day. IT's an excellent game. :D Thank you very much

Pluses:
- it's colourful: the whole design is excellent
- changes whole screen colours with each level
- love the destroyer bugs
- the music well... one word pops to mind. It RULES. I especially love the 'keep bringing it' bit. It's cute.
- is very relaxing at the end of a long day
Minuses:
- time goes away too fast in upper levels
- the logic ones are quite difficult after the first easy one (need more neurons); potentially bring in more intermediate levels, or give more instructions
- is sliiighlty addictive :)

You guys are the greatest! I found your website by sheer accident. I was looking for some freeware
mostly games for the kids, since I am unemployed at this time, I cannot afford to buy them any to play with on the computer. I was tickled pink when I saw this, this is my second time here downloading
games from your website. I also added you to my Yahoo account. I am so happy to see such kind hearted people like you. Not everyone does this, especially such good games like the one's you give away. You are the Best!!!! Keep up the great work!!

This is a great game for kids, of which I have two under 12 (so take THAT, Christopher!). The graphics are nice, the music is not too repetitive or annoying. My kids can pick up the gameplay and stick with it for while. Thanks for the free game!

Arxon è ambientato in un atmosfera egizia antica, voi sposterete uno scarabeo colorato lungo i margini di una griglia e dovrete prendere altri scarabei di colori diversi, quando spostate con il mouse lo scarabeo sopra l’asse, soposterete tutti gli altri scarabei lungo la fila o la colonna. Arxon prevede 3 modalità di gioco diverse tutte da provare. [...]

This kind of thing was good 10 years ago. Not worth your time unless you're desperate and dont have the time to find something better, which there's plenty out there. VERY VERY basic game, good for children 8 to 12 perhaps.
