Two days after installation, this program starts telling me I need to buy the Pro version to do automatic tagging. I guess it's not really free, is it?

Just like previous offer, it does install without error message,and activate, display Give away of the day webpage, but it does not run on my Vista 32 system. Since no error message is showing up I have no idea what is preventing a software to run.

Installed on 98 Second Edition. When trying to start the program, I get an error
"Cannot find import; DLL may be missing, corrupt, or wrong version File "WMVCore.DLL", error 0"
Can someone tell me what this means? I'm thinking I need to update Windows Media Player?
Oh, and yes, I have DirectX 9.0c installed, per their webpage info.

Ok, I need some explanation. The title bar says it is the pro version, but the options say otherwise. What is the registration code?
With the program open, go to Tools > Options

Here is some information for all of you who are questioning what is going on:
The previous version went from pro to free, and everyone apologized for it and they put the download back again. You may have to uninstall the old on before installing the new one to see the changes. Whe the title bar says "Zortam Mp3 Media Studio Pro GOTD 11.10", the upgrade is complete. It will always say "Buy Zortam Mp3 Media Studio Pro". This is because it was a giveaway. You have the fully unlocked pro version, but if you want a future version, you have to buy it.

Zortam Mp3 Media Studio Pro 11 may be a comprehensive app for working with, organizing MP3s, but tech wise I'm unimpressed... 1st off, after install visit Microsoft Update where 2 XML 4 updates are shown in the critical category (there may be more after installing those). While existing xml 6 files weren't overwritten, registry entries were downgraded to version 4. Open source code is used that may be old &/or not be the latest versions, without attributing open source, & files are installed to Windows' system folder that shouldn't be.

With a library of 15000, it took 2 hours to load. That's worse than Windows Media Player! Using the web, it can auto find lyrics and cover art. Testing, it was GREAT on finding lyrics. It was LOUSY on artwork - yes, it found cover art, it just didn't match the MP3. Lyrics: 5 of 5 correct. Artwork: 1 of 5 correct.

Sorry but this is worst than a piece of shi***
- Crashes regularly: I'm on WinXP SP3 regularly update and rarely have any problems with GOTD progs that I try.
- Translation done with a bot: If you can't manage to pay for a REAL Translator, DON'T use stupid bots. An upgrade is NOT "hautgrade" In French. The translation isn't even complete!
- When you move around the different sections in the main window, there's no auto adjustment of the size of the content. Example: I put the player in the right column or the bottom section and I need to rearrange EVERYTHING to TRY to make things fit. Terrible! :-S
- The side scrolling arrows don't disappear in the ID3v2 editor's window, misleading us into thinking that there's more after
- Why would we want this "thing" to launch with windows?
- Folders scan for mp3's is a CPU HOG, make it take less, or AT LAST give us a little arrow we can chose the cpu % we want the scan to take. Just in case we're in a hurry to have the library created.
In short? I'm not even finished trying it and I already that I WON'T pay 30$ for this, and it's not even the PRO version. Aren't we supposed to get a "GIVEAWAY"??? But according to all the errors found in this "watchumaccallit" version, I quite probably not pay even for the PRO.

The new donload works fine on win7 64 ultimate.
It just over loaded the last download.

Installed this last time, imported all my MP3's and thought, yea, it looks ok. runs ok etc etc.
Then the next day when I turned on my PC it did a auto update; of what i do not know. Then I started the program and found ALL my MP3's had vanished. Re loaded them.
Next day, same problem. All my MP3's had vanished from the program.
Perhaps they could advise if this is a bug that has been fixed?
If so I would gladly re-install it.

Okay so this comment might be short, and not as constructive as some but my short thoughts :
Definitely suggest Winamp in place of this software. Interface is too troublesome and difficult to learn. Interface leads me to believe there are many options but in reality there are few when you go to the actual options itself. The only fun I had with this software is looking at the cool visualization playing while an MP3 played. Otherwise I fair to see the point of this software.
